I’ve been using this bag almost daily for several months now, these are my observations. If you are lighter (under 180lbs) and just beginning boxing this bag will be a solid choice. I’m 6’0 205lbs and a heavy hitter, even when I snap my punches as to not push the bag it still swings a ton but that is due to the 80 lbs weight. This has been a good thing for me though because the movement forces me to constantly use footwork to keep up. If you are lighter or are not a heavy hitter this bag won’t move as much for you. Muay Thai guys look elsewhere, this bag is canvas and my elbows and knees are scarred up pretty good from it. You need to mount the bag at a height where you will be punching at about the “T” in Everlast, the filling settles quite a bit, the top of the bag will be very soft and from mid way down and below the bag is rock hard. I’ve practiced ground and pound, takedowns and throws with the bag and it has held up well to all of my abuse. In several months of near daily beatings it looks like it did when I pulled it out of the box. Overall for the money this is a great bag for a beginner or for a lighter boxer who doesn’t want to spend a ton. ... show more

This Heavy Bag is awesome. For gym or home. Very durable, well built, even has an anchor for the bottom. Coming off the standard leather bags I was concerned with the feel of landed punches/kicks. This bag was one of the best additions I've made to my home gym. As you can see, I have it anchored at the bottom so it doesn't slam into any walls of my home. THAT IS A MUST. Great bag! Hanged it in my garage and workout on the daily! Bought a thicker chain than what it came with and made it even better. Did not see any issue but a friend of mine did so I just bought one in case. Got it from lowes. Great bag and able to take punches great doesnt swing too bad and I hit as well as kick hard, still gives a decent swing. I'm 5'6 weigh in another 155lbs but when I competed I would fight around 135lbs. Love this bag would highly recommend. It is a little hard but not broken in any case. ... show more

Put up in 2 min. Just needed my wife to hook it while i lifted it. Nice weight and durability. I love punching it. I attached a bottom weight anchor fillled with play sand to keep it from swinging wildly. Had to tie knots in the bungee to make it tighter tho. Maybe I'll attach a chain to make it more taught. 5 stars from me for sure ... show more

The bag is pretty good but within 5 sessions of light jab work, the majority of the filling transferred to the bottom of the bag. The top half basically feels empty when I hit it, and the bottom half is hard as a rock. This process happens over time to most low budget bags but I’m disappointed how fast it happened this time. ... show more
