The chair was fairly easy to assemble, took me 15 minutes. The chair at first is stiff but does seem to loosen up over a few days/weeks. One of the items I did not like, is the chair generally feels cheap. Lots of items on it are loose and nothing you can do to fix. The arm rests are adjustable but they move so easily it annoying. I am 250 lbs and after a few weeks my behind would get numb from sitting on it after 2 hours. I could not adjust the tension on the recline to keep it from going all the way back, even at maximum where I could not spin the dial anymore. Not sure if the tension is a general problem or if it was just on my chair. I really enjoyed the back rest and absolutely loved the head rest. You do get a lot of features for the money, just hated how cheap it felt for the price. I think if you are less than 200 lbs you'll probably love this chair. I did not have a problem fitting in the chair, if was quite spacious. Wheels are great. I really wanted to love the chair, but ultimately decided to return it. I always thought Aeron was the pinnacle of comfort. I have to say, this chair is as good as any Aeron I have owned and a fraction of the price. The base and frame peices are solid cast polished metal and HEAVY DUTY. They remind me of chrome you would find on a car or airplane from the 1950's - just smooth and super heavy duty. The seat bottom is so comfy. I weigh 250lbs and have a very boney butt. So sitting in anything too long is pretty horrible. This chair makes me feel like a normally endowed human being. I have no pressure back there and all other supports are fantastic. It flexes with you but provides excellent support. I feel pampered and would buy this chair again and again. ... show more

I like that it is comfortable, ventilating, and offers excellent support. Some of the down side is that the seat mesh is tough, it feels like the mesh will last, but don't think you'll be comfortable if you sometimes cross your legs or tuck one leg under the other while sitting.

I am 6'4" and the seat was extremely uncomfortable because it was not long enough to fit my hips/thigh. Definitely try it out in a store if possible. My wife who is 5'7" loves it.
