I recently purchased the Popowell International European Plug Adapter for a two-week trip across Europe, and I must say, it's a game-changer for travelers. Recently moved to S. Korea and needed some outlet converters. This works well. I plugged in a laptop and two monitors. It just works. I also like how it winds up into a nice compact bundle. There is only one drawback. The plug is a little loose in the outlet. I am not sure if the EU plugs are thinner than Korean ones, but it does sit a little loose. The prongs are definitely thinner than some other ones I have. So, it may become dislodged if you tug on it or snag it by accident. Just something to keep in mind.

When traveling with children, having enough power outlets for the myriad of devices we all have these days, a multi strip is almost essential. Having a lead on the power strip is pleasant, and 4’ is very helpful in ensuring I can make effective use of the power strip when the available outlet is behind furniture, or otherwise in a poor location. Some brief testing with both low (under 50w), medium (350w) and high (1250w) draw electronics, I found no issues with heat management within the device, monitoring it while under load with a thermal camera. I am satisfied with the performance of this travel power strip, and my family will certainly appreciate and make use of this available power during our upcoming trip to the EU.

Everything you’d expect from a European travel plug 🔌… I can’t actually test it out since we’re not in Europe at the moment 😆. But I’m sure it works just fine. Don’t think it’s worth $18+ though… maybe $10.00-$13.00.

The Popowell International European Plug Adapter is a one stop shop for my euro-travel electrical needs. the 4-foot cord provides the reach I need to plug in devices from a reasonable distance. There’s never an outlet exactly where you need it! Three standard US plugs, 2 USB plugs, and 1 USB-C plug allow me to charge a variety of items at once. Given that so much of the world has moved over to usb-c, I’d prefer more USB-c ports on this charger. The USB-C port does not provide the same power as a dedicated laptop charger, so you will still need to bring your charging brick from home and plug it into one of the 3 grounded US/Edison plugs on the adaptor to charge your laptop.
