I've had many mountain bikes and this is the first one I purchased online. No surprise here I guess, here are just a few of the issues that I encountered: - The handle bar joint is installed backwards (when wheel faces front, joint faces inwards) If you install the handlebar in this position your knees hit the handlebar and you may not be able to steer depending on your height. I needed to rotate the joint 180 degrees forward before installing the handlebar. - Pictures in the manual show images that don't look like the bike purchased (images of rubber brakes instead of disc brakes, different bicycle every other picture etc.) - Gear shifting is random luck, the chain loses grip on gear change and won't catch, stuck with one gear - Really uncomfortable seat - Incredibly stiff suspension by default, needs quite a bit of tuning - Front wheel brake disc, when seated in place, constantly touches the front brake assembly, this needs some tuning before the noise goes away. The claim is that the back brake is already calibrated, which has a similar issue, but slightly less friction in that one by default Overall, not the best money could buy. ... show more

I absolutely love this bike! It was easy to put together and it's easy to fold/unfold and load into my SUV. If you have trouble folding/unfolding your bike, spray WD40 in the joints.

The bike itself is good value. The issue I had was that the bike had some missing pieces on the headset and missing seat clamp, missing tooling and instructions. Assembly was simple, even without the manual. I was able to order these parts, but at an extra cost and inconvenience. I test rode my bike a week after I got it. Very comfortable and very sturdy after adding the minor fixes. No issues after that. ... show more

Gears and disc brakes work well. Beautiful looking bike, gets compliments. Solid construction and good tires and pedals. Handlebar stem is too short and grips are low quality (had a bike shop replace the grips and installed a longer stem). Need to lubricate the folding frame hinge with WD40, otherwise very difficult to fold the frame! Double check all bolts and screws to ensure they are torqued tight.     • Extremely Disappointed with Eurobike Mountain G4: A Series of Mechanical Nightmares

The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Eurobike Mountain G4 with high hopes of embarking on thrilling adventures. However, my experience with this bike has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I started using it, numerous problems began to surface, leaving me extremely disappointed and frustrated. First and foremost, the chain on this bike constantly falls out of place when shifting gears, making each ride an exercise in frustration. It's as if the gears have a mind of their own, refusing to cooperate and disrupting the entire cycling experience. Furthermore, the wheels of the Eurobike Mountain G4 are grossly out of balance. This flaw not only compromises the bike's stability but also causes an incessant, irritating vibration that reverberates throughout the frame. It's impossible to enjoy a smooth and comfortable ride when your bike feels like it's about to fall apart at any moment. To add insult to injury, the brake discs grind against the wheels, producing an unbearable noise that haunts every ride. The constant screeching and grinding is not only disturbing to the rider but also attracts unwanted attention from everyone nearby. It's embarrassing and utterly unacceptable for a bike of this supposed caliber. Another disappointment is the fact that one of the pedals doesn't fold up as advertised. This false claim is misleading and reflects poorly on the overall integrity of the product. When purchasing a bike with specific features, it's reasonable to expect them to function as promised. Moreover, the hand brake on the Eurobike Mountain G4 is extremely loose, failing to provide a sense of security and control. It's a nerve-wracking experience to rely on a faulty brake system, compromising the rider's safety and confidence in the bike. Additionally, the seat on this bike is outrageously uncomfortable. It's as if the designers completely neglected the importance of rider comfort. After enduring excruciating discomfort on multiple rides, I was forced to invest in a new seat to salvage what little enjoyment I could salvage from using this bike. Despite this litany of flaws, the only positive aspect I can mention is its aesthetic appeal. The Eurobike Mountain G4 undeniably looks cool with its sleek design, but looks alone cannot compensate for the multitude of mechanical failures and subpar performance. In conclusion, I strongly advise against purchasing the Eurobike Mountain G4. It's a prime example of false advertising and poor craftsmanship. The continuous issues with the chain, wheel balance, brake discs, folding pedal, hand brake, and uncomfortable seat make this bike a complete disappointment. Save yourself the headache and invest in a more reliable and higher-quality mountain bike that will provide a truly enjoyable riding experience. ... show more

Skeptical at first but solid AF Wanted a folding bike and there is not much to chooses from that does not appear to be cheap or too small or out of my budget for what I need. I need something to ride daily a few miles and not to worry about terrain that can fit in the back of a small SUV.
