After leaving our 10x10 E-Z Up Canopy (with straight, NOT angled, vertical legs) outside for several weeks a few summers ago (during which there were multiple rain storms), we realized that the rainwater had pooled in the original canopy top, significantly stretching out the fabric. (Whoops!) Since then, I've been looking (somewhat casually) for a replacement canopy top. Knowing that we were planning to host several outdoor parties this summer, I decided to be more serious about my search. I looked at the E-Z Up site, but was not thrilled at the idea of spending $150 for just the top (I believe we spent less than this when we originally purchased the original E-Z Up, with canopy top and storage bag, more than 15 years ago.) After reading various reviews about similar products, I decided to purchase the Eurmax replacement canopy, and I am thrilled! I bought the top in white, and the total cost at the time of purchase was less than $90, with free shipping. The canopy top fits my E-Z Up 10x10 straight legged frame perfectly - and is a nicer, more substantial fabric than the original. While it doesn't have eyelets (as the original did) to attach it to the frame, it has sewn-in Velcro strips which secure it (my E-Z Up frame has existing Velcro strips on the outside of the legs, to keep the sides of the canopy secure in the wind - the Eurmax canopy top's Velcro strips line up with these.) The Velcro is strong, and holds the canopy top in place, even in a moderate breeze. After use, we removed the canopy top as recommended (rather than folding it up with the frame); it was easy to lift off. We folded it separately and placed it with the frame in the storage bag. Highly recommend. I purchased this canopy top at FULL price, and have not received any discount or incentive for my review.

Putting this canopy up is a chore, but you need to keep adjusting for the first 30 days to get the cover as tight as possible. It is anchored to the house on one side and ground rachet straps on the other. It has withstood wind gusts of 50+-mph. Mine as been up for 14 months and still holding up. We did not have any big snows this past winter, so I do not know how well it would hold up with a snow load. My assumption is that keeping the snow load to a minimum would be called for. Also, the canopy is not designed for continuous use, but we do. (Covers my hot tub)

We purchased this top for a 10x20 to replace the original top that was damaged. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that it WAS NOT folded like it came from the factory. However I didn’t put to much thought into that in the sense that I should have . The second thing, as soon as we started to un fold it ….. there was a small piece of tree or bush stick stuck to the Velcro. As we continued to in ravel it we seen more , looked like maybe grass . We did one more unfold …… and confirmed it was definitely pre sold and returned . There was a big hole in the vinyl ! Wrapped it nach up shoved it back in the box and sending it BACK !! We paid for a NEW top ….. ended up with a USED one that we can’t even use . Very NOT happy!! Also .. the weights that are supposed to come with the top , were not included.

I decided to install the cover on my EZ Up canopy frame that I kept after the original cover wore out. This new cover fit perfect with all the velcro strips installed exactly in line with the original strips on the frame. It looks fantastic. Thank You!

I have older 10 x 10 canopies that I have to use white tops for due to restrictions from the local farmers markets I participate in. It is so hard to find white canopies or replacement tops with these reflective coatings. (Colored are easier but I cannot get coordinators to change their minds.) Our summers in Arizona are rough, and these to help in blocking out more of the sun and heat than the uncoated white ones. Please get more!!!!!
