Polyester blocks about 99% UV rays. Stitching lines are all seam sealed to prevent water from penetrating through seams for making our canopy water-resistant. Eurmax is one of those rare companies that goes above and beyond with creating a quality product, and then following it up with stellar customer service. I bought this canopy top as a replacement for my EZ Up Instant Shelter metal frame, since the previous one had gotten old and dirty. This one fit perfectly after one minor adjustment to the central pole on the frame. My husband and I did a test setup in our parking lot just to ensure it was good to go. Just seconds before we could tie it down with sandbags, a strong gust of wind picked up the whole tent, tossed it over on its head and dragged it along the pavement :( The metal frame snapped it 4 places, but this top surprising survived the abuse (mostly), although it did sustain minor tears, scratches and frayed stitches in multiple places. If it weren't for the stringent rules of the market I'm going to set it up in, I could have patched it up and reused it. Now that I had also lost use of the frame, I needed to buy the full set. But didn't know if this damaged canopy top qualified for return, so I contacted the company. Their customer care empathized with my sad incident, and refunded my purchase the next day, without the need to send this product back. They made my replacement purchase even easier. Going forward, the very, very first thing I'm going to set up is sandbags :D Thank you, Eurmax!

Okay universal replacement canvas

The product itself is excellent. Well made, sturdy, nice fabric. It is ok as a universal replacement canopy for the price. The fit is rather loose on my Hoteel 10x20 heavy duty frame but Hoteel does not offer a replacement canopy for their product. I am happy to have some shade on my full sun patio.

Runs short, dimensions not as described

It is not 8' X 12'. It is 11'7" X 7'10". If using for a replacement, measure your old one first or your frame. It is not a replacement for ABC Canopy, which is 12.0' X 8.0'. other than that, the all was good, good material, d rings, Velcro, seam stitching and I was sad it didn't fit. One star lost for non specific dimensions in product details, not even metric measurements

Flimsy - Rainwater Pooled Within a Month

I hate leaving bad reviews, but hopefully this is helpful to others. I purchased this to replace a cover that I used on our patio for over 3 years. The old cover eventually began to pool in one corner and with continuous outdoor use the fabric ripped. This new cover pooled after only a month of use! Granted, we had an abnormally rainy season, but I find it impossible to attach this snuggly to my canopy frame. The Velcro on the corners don't line up with the Velcro on my frame - on the cover, they're too low and not located up in the corner where it would provide a tight fit. I'll need to attach some rope to the corners of the cover and then tie them down to the canopy legs in order to get a snug fit. I purchased this based on reviews suggesting it would work with my frame. (ProSource Easy Pop Up 10x10) So I would suggest inquiring about this fitting your canopy frame prior to purchase. Currently, I'm having to remove the canopy after each rain to drain the water. Can't imagine this will last long before I need to replace the cover again. If you know for sure that this will fit your canopy, then I would recommend. The fabric quality is great - very thick and durable. One more suggestion: I would think twice about a colored canopy over white. I thought it would be fun to have some color on the patio, so purchased this orange one. However, it casts an orange glow that does not make for great pictures! I will go with white next time.

Great Canopy replacement!

Canopy is made with good quality fabric. Very easy to set up, and fits perfectly. I like the colorful options as well. Could be used in many ways, for me I made it a cover for my kids play area, and easily taken to game days for sun protection.
