Good quality. Functions well. Strong enough for my 45 pound dog. I would recommend. I have an 40 lb Australian Shepherd and a 46 lb Border Collie. Two dogs that love to run. I have one of these on each side of my house with hundred foot ropes attached. The younger dog, the border collie, likes to takeoff running out of our yard, so I use these every time I let her outside. The corkscrew designed is easily screwed into the ground and creates a strong hold. The handle at the top of the corkscrew holds a rope or cable securely and has a lay flat design so you can easily mow over it without having to remove it or mow around it. This yard stalk has held up to my border, collies rigorous activities, providing me complete confidence that she will not escape, run through the neighborhood, or get hurt. I would highly recommend and I have bought as gifts for family and friends who became new pet owners.

I had no intentions of reviewing these but given the winds ive seen our trampoline withstand I feel the need to share. I purchased these to hold down a 12ft netted trampoline. It has almost been a year and these have seen 60mph+ winds and held their ground. They perform much better the straight stakes. We have a wooden playset in the yard that was staked down with 6 normal stakes and that has blown over. That really put in perspective for me how well these work knowing how much more wind a trampoline catches. I will note they are difficult to get in when the ground is hard. 4 of these stakes worked for our trampoline.

It’s tornado season in AL and we’ve had several storms and high winds, including tornadoes nearby, and our trampoline hasn’t budged. Some of our neighbors haven’t been so lucky.

I feel much better about wind and my trampoline after installing these beauties. I would have loved if the pack came with 6 so I could have one on every leg. That being said it would be totally for esthetic purposes as I have no doubt the set of 4 will hold down the Trampoline even in high winds. The included bit is not a high quality item but it worked well enough to completely burry all 4 spikes deep enough in my hard dirt that if I take off the straps I can safely mow the area without hitting the spikes. Has already been through one tornado season in Oklahoma and held down the trampoline with no problems in 60-80MPH gusts.
