While I like the color and overall look of it I was quite disappointed that it did not measure to be 5x8. It is about 4x6. I think that the vendor should put that very important detail in the description. I emailed the vendor and was asked if they could send me a replacement canopy and then I could return mine. Not sure how replacing the fabric piece changes the problem, it’s not the size as described. I kept it instead of returning the gazebo since it was a bit of a pain to put together. Although everything is labeled it sure doesn’t clearly show that you need to have the poles a certain way or else other pieces won’t be able to be put together. Also, the canopy piece was such a tight fit that I almost ripped it trying to pull it over one of the pieces. ... show more

The first sentence of "Use and Care" says "This gazebo is not a permanent structure and should be disassembled & stored away after use." There is no practical way to do this. It is not made to be easily disassembled and stored away. I wondered if I should return it after reading this. The dimensions at the posts are 51 ½ x 82"; the dimensions of the canopy are 60 x 96". The canopy (small and large) are difficult to put the last corner on. The instructions could be better however each part is labeled with a letter and number which helps. Not too difficult to assemble and it looks awesome! 4.5.20 update: my canopy didn't make it 4 days. I set it up but didn't have the materials to stake it down properly, so away it blew. It was pretty resilient though- I was able to get it upright, straightened out, and staked down; however, the damaged pieces (where I had to straighten it out) just didn't have the stability. A good straightline wind blew the top braces off the legs. I'm leaving it 5 stars because it really took a lot of abuse before it gave out. Learn from my mistake: make sure you have all the equipment needed to stake it down before you build it! ... show more

Looks great, fairly sturdy. This is my third one. They tend to rust out after 3 to 4 yrs. Assembly is fairly easy with 2 people. The only issue is the canopy, it would not stretch to fit over the last corner. Had to cut off half inch from two ends, then fit fine.

I love this canopy, although the instructions were lacking and caused some confusion in putting it together. Now that it’s together it seems sturdy, and I weighed it down with sandbags from Amazon that Velcro onto the poles so that it won’t blow away in a wind storm.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my dad. He waited until Spring to assemble it. One of the pieces has a bad weld that prevents this from being assembled. Customer service was quick to answer and we went back in forth several times as they asked for additional photos/order info. However I'm not sure why they requested any information at all as in the end they told me that they do not have individual pieces for replacements and the 30 day return window was closed. They asked if I would be willing to purchase another gazebo to get the piece I need. I'm unsure why they would think I would be willing to purchase an entire second gazebo for one piece? I'm not talking about an exchange, they suggested I get a second one to give to my dad. I purchased this particular one based on good reviews. So as much as I hate leaving a one star review I feel I need to as a warning to others to assemble it within the return window. I am completely out my money on this with nothing to show for it. ... show more

Very impressed with the quality of this product. Very sturdy. The directions look very complicated, however, if you follow them step-by-step, it is simple. The canopy is made with a nice thick material, much more durable than I expected. Both sides have a shelf, which I find extremely helpful while cooking.
