I live on a dirt road and have many pets and wall-to-wall carpeting through a large house. Vacuuming is a never-ending chore and trying to drag around a corded vac was a nightmare. I picked up one of the no-name generic stick vacs last year and it's basically useless with this amount of soiling. This time I looked at Dyson and shark and they either didn't have power buttons that stayed on or had itty bitty dust containers that are just not going to be adequate. I took a chance with the eureka because it has the best capacity at the best price and so far I have been pleasantly surprised. For my use I can deep clean one maybe two rooms if I'm lucky on a charge or spot clean a few. The dust cup is extremely easy to remove and the top filter assembly just pops right out no hassle in order to get out extra pet hair or give it a tap to release dust super easy. It is not the lightest stick vac out there but it's still easy for me to maneuver even with arthritis. It came with several nice attachments and a hanging rack that was easy to install on the wall. The only cons are that it takes forever to charge several hours so I can only really vacuum once or twice a day for like 15 minutes at a time which wasn't a big deal I just broke up my vacuuming over several days. The roller obviously is not tangle free and I was a little disappointed to see that even though eureka is a major player in the industry their manual still suggests using a knife or a box cutter to cut hair off of a tangled up roller Even the Chinese companies have figured out that those little square letter openers that you used to get as handouts at job fairs and such make super short work of cleaning vacuum rollers and include them with their products.     • Just what I needed
I have OCD, 2 step kids, a long haired cat and a dog that apparently sheds non stop. I would find moats of her hair and she would rub herself down the side of the couch. I clean every Monday and by Tuesday I want to burn the house down. I don’t want to have to drag out the full sized vacuum every time one of the makes a mess. So on the hunt I went. There are a lot of options here, and on the TikTok shop. I decided on this because of the washable filter and couch attachment. It works great. Had and initial issue with the battery but Eureka customer support was gold. I am very happy with the suction. The unit is light and easy to maneuver. This vacuum weighs a ton I'd say about 20 lb. I'm 67 years old with back pain and shoulder pain. I just sent back a Bissell that got completely tangled up with carpet fibers which this vacuum does,also, I thought the roller was supposed to have long plastic like fins but this has brushes which I did not want. again it picks up every carpet fiber. the only way that the roller brush moves is because you're pushing it when you stop pushing it,n The roller stops moving. So you're using all your strength to push this vacuum through whatever carpeting you have. It's ridiculous. I'm sending it back tomorrow after having it about a week. The battery only lasts 15 minutes when I was doing three very small rooms with only one carpet about 4 ft x 5 ft and it quit at 15 minutes. The Bissell at least ran for 45 minutes ‼️ You have to take the vacuum apart in order to empty the dust spin which is a good size, but you have to take it off of the long handle in order to place it upside down to fall into a basket or in my case outside. It's just very inconvenient in so many ways, I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone, especially a senior citizen. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This review is for the Eureka Attitude Pro cordless stick vacuum. First of all, this is the second vacuum I've received. Out of the box, the first one didn't seem to be operating correctly, and the beater bar and lights would come on and off sporadically. I contacted Eureka customer service, and they recommended an exchange, which is what I did. I must say, I am SO glad I did that exchange, because this vacuum is a real pleasure to use! It is so much easier to maneuver than a standard vacuum, and the head is super maneuverable. This vacuum has three speeds, and when you turn it on it defaults to medium. To test the battery I tried it on low speed, with the beater bar operating (carpet mode). I thought it might only be able to do my upstairs carpeted area, but I continued on to vacuum the carpeted stairs, and the entire downstairs, which is about 70% carpet and 30% hard floors. Even on low speed, this vacuum has very good suction. I'd spent just under a half hour doing this, and it still had 50% battery capacity left. Frankly, that was pretty impressive to me! I really love that this has an actual beater bar with a brush on it. I've used other cordless stick vacuums that had more of a foam brush roller, that really didn't do much on carpet. By the way, as mentioned in the description, this vacuum is designed to go under furniture. The handle does extend all the way down, with the vacuum head remaining flat on the floor. It also has rubber coated wheels, so they will not damage hardwood floors. The pet hair attachment has silicone strips instead of brushes, so pet hair will not get stuck on the roller. It also has a crevice tool, upholstery brush attachment, and a mounting bracket. I mounted it inside a linen closet, and it takes up very little space. Removing the extension and attaching the floor head unit directly to the vacuum is how to clean carpeted stairs. It really does work well, and makes the process very fast and simple. Emptying the container is easy, and I always do this outside at my main garbage bin, when there's no wind 😁 So despite my initial experience, I am 100% pleased with this vacuum. If you have a very large home you may want to order the package with the extra battery and battery dock, but for my home, one battery seems to be fine. Highly recommended, and I believe it is well worth the asking price of around $300. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... show more
