In a nutshell: Works great, exactly as expected. Fast, efficient - really happy with the purchase. TL;DR Our built-in fridge icemaker died unexpectedly and we needed something to make ice for hot days. Needed small footprint, quick turnover and as little noise as possible. This unit works for us really well. Full basket in about an hour or less. I take the nuggets and put in a ziplock bag and into a freezer for later. Ran it for about 4-6 hours and had enough ice for a weekend (2 gallon freezer bags, not completely full and I was not very diligent about emptying/refilling)

We bought this icemaker several months ago and it has been worth the money. We live on the lake and have lots of company and it always keeps us in ice. The quality is as good as the more expensive ones. It does not leak. It makes ice very quickly. The ice basket is quite large and it holds a good amount of water so you don’t need to continually check on it. We empty the ice about once every 25 to 30 minutes and that’s when we add more water. The lifespan has been very good so far because we use it all the time.

Will start with the pros: It does make the cubes rather quickly. It does stop when basket is full. It does stop when out of water... It truly works awesome, makes cubes and the cubes apparently made to fit into a regular 16 oz bottle of water.... Cons: Again works great, it just takes time to collect enough cubes to store for future use, if you're gonna need a large quantity of ice... But, overall, awesome for a single or couple who just want to make small batches and take the time to just keep running the ice maker until you get the desired amount you want..... its a great investment... I'm not saying its the best or worst ice maker, but for the cost and its ease of use and its ability to make ice, its a very acceptable machine...

I have a fancy LG refrigerator. But the ice basket isn't so fancy. Or practical. It runs out of ice constantly. Now, the only negative is that my unit wasn't shipped with a handle. But it's not a pale or a bike and because I set this unit on my counter top, I'm not bothered. It's about the size of a larger food processor or coffee machine. In minutes I had these little ice bullets. Sweet. The unit didn't have any smell or residue and it ran for hours, made a ton of ice and never gave me a problem except when the red light came on to fill the tank back up with water again. So, it did it's job in all aspects. It looks durable. And maybe the only thing down the road would be a water pump issue. Otherwise, definitely a great purchase.

This was just what we needed. The size is smaller than the last one I owned and takes up less space on the counter but produces just as much of not more ice. The water capacity is also comparable to the others I owned. This model is self cleaning and that is such a plus after losing our last one to green tinted water from corrosion in the copper pipes. This is great! The ice maker on my refrigerator went out and no one will repair it and it's hard to live without ice. This shipped quickly arrived in perfect condition, well packaged. You have to set it on a flat surface for 24 hours before you use this so that the refrigerant will settle. Then take it near a sink to wash out the water holding part. Reach under to pull the drain plug. Don't tip it upside down or you'll have to do the 24 hours again. This thing makes ice within 5 minutes! It's awesome! If you don't have an ice maker on your refrigerator get this! It's even portable you can plug it in outside, at a campground, take it along to music festival! I will probably be giving these away as gifts to all my family members who camp and attend festivals for Christmas this year.

Good price, easy to set up and use. Nice, small ice cubes, produced quickly. Bought as a backup for house kitchen refridgrator/freezer. Need more space to store ice made!. Will not keep ice long in the unit itself, it melts and if enough water, makes more ice. Not a big ice maker, but quiter than the refrigerator. Don't expect lots of ice without storing some as it is made, but works and at a good price point. Don`t know how long it will last.
