Ice maker works very well, produces a full basket in about 20-30 minutes. Very easy to operate and fill though cleaning and emptying excess water is a little annoying. I saw a good tip to leave it open and near a fan to dry out which has worked for me. The ice bullets produced are good, decently thick and consistent though the very first batch is usually thinner. The ice release mechanism works without issue and senses when the basket is full. I make a big bag full in 90 minutes and it usually lasts me about a week. Definitely recommend for an inexpensive but effective ice maker.

Great little ice machine. Makes a ton of ice and as it melts it uses the melted water to make additional ice. I like the fact that it doesn’t take long to make ice and the cube quality is really good. The only drawback is that it is a bit noisy. If you were using this in a dorm you would not want it running at night. My daughter plans to use this in her apartment this fall so will need to keep it in her bathroom due to the noise. Otherwise it works great and highly recommend!

Will start with the pros: It does make the cubes rather quickly. It does stop when basket is full. It does stop when out of water... It truly works awesome, makes cubes and the cubes apparently made to fit into a regular 16 oz bottle of water.... Cons: Again works great, it just takes time to collect enough cubes to store for future use, if you're gonna need a large quantity of ice... But, overall, awesome for a single or couple who just want to make small batches and take the time to just keep running the ice maker until you get the desired amount you want..... its a great investment... I'm not saying its the best or worst ice maker, but for the cost and its ease of use and its ability to make ice, its a very acceptable machine...

I used to have a 5-gallon bottom loading water machine, but I can no longer lift heavy bottles of water. So I I had to figure out another way to have cold delish water, so I bought an ice maker and 1-gallon refillable jugs to try that route. It’s the best decision I made this year! I LOVE this ice maker! It makes ice fast, and it’s the perfect size and shape for me! It’s easy to clean and empty. It was easy to set up. It is compact, and barely takes up any room in my kitchen! I make ice daily. I make 2 bags for me, and a bag for my dog. He loves ice water during this hot weather! I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

this ice machine is awesome it's very quiet when making the ice barely even hear when the ice drops into the tray. The pieces are perfect for any type of dink. It makes the ice very quickly and very fast we never run out of ice. I love that it small enough to fit on my countertop and very sturdy. It lets you know when it time for a refill on ice because it will make a little beep sound. I recommend this machine to anyone.

I have various physical ailments that make it extremely painful to use ice trays, and my fridge doesn't have an ice maker. So I was looking at ice makers and decided to give this machine a try. And I am extremely glad that I did. The machine "Just Works." Fill the reservoir with clean good quality water (I use filtered water from a filter pitcher), hit the power button, and within 6-10 minutes you'll have your first ice cubes. I live alone and this machine easily makes enough ice to satisfy my daily needs. Every night before bed, I empty the tank and dry it out with paper towels, then in the morning after I've had breakfast and coffee, I fill it and start it up. By the time lunchtime rolls around I've got a good supply of ice, which lasts me throughout the day. If you have a large family (say, 2-3 or more people) or want to use it to make lots of ice for parties, etc., then you'll probably want to look at a bigger model. However if it's just you (and maybe one other person) then this machine is more than big enough. It is noisy but not horribly so. If you were sitting right next to it all day, it might get on your nerves, but I normally don't hang out in my kitchen so it's not a problem. Note that the first 2-3 baskets full you make will taste a little bit plasticky, even if you wash the inside of the machine as directed, so either throw them out or melt them and use them to water plants or whatever. Very happy with this purchase, and I highly recommend it if you are in the need for one.
