So far, this product is running well. It does shut down when the rather small reservoir is full. So, we are emptying it twice a day in the basement. I'm hoping that will improve when it gets colder, and household humidity is less. We got a four-year protection plan with this one. All of our previous dehumidifiers stopped functioning after two years, so we'll see how this commercial unit works! My utility bills have gone up, so I'll be monitoring that as well.

Did a great job drying our flooded basement! Easy to use. Easy to drain. Easy to move on solid floor. It is a heavy unit @80 pounds out of boxing. Comes well protected in packaging, boxing designed for easy removal.

Wish I opened the box sooner. I bought this for a project that has been put on hold. I left the box sit for about 2 months before opening it and now I can't return it. The build quality of this thing is great. It's super heavy so the wheels are really nice. I like the look of it and I do believe it's built to last. That's the only thing that is commercial quality about this is the weight and build quality. To my disappointment this is actually a good deal less powerful than my residential grade dehumidifier I bought at my local big box store for half the price. That one is also half the weight and very easy to lift. This isn't. The label says this unit draws about 5 amps on the regular. My residential one draws 7.5 amps. I left this thing run in my 600 sqft basement for over 24 hours and it effectively dropped the humidity by only about 4%. Because my basement is cooler (~55 - 60°F) I figure this unit only removes about 15 pints a day. The 160 pints is an absolute pipe dream for this unit. It's so far fetched that the label on the unit itself doesn't even go that high as to being able to remove that much moisture in a 24hr period. It is a nice unit but overall it's an extreme disappointment for what I was intending to use it for. It can't even dry up a 600sqft basement with 7' tall ceiling. A rougher environment where it might get banged up but humidity is within reason and the space isn't too large is where it's ideal.

I got this dehumidifier since it can go down to 20% and I’m having a moisture issue in the basement. I previously purchased a different dehumidifier that couldn’t set below 40%, but it would struggle to maintain 40% when the temperature increased a few degrees. After a few weeks running this dehumidifier, I wasn’t sure if it was worth the extra money since it frequently has to “defrost” every 30 mins, and I can see the humidity rise again in that time. It never got the basement below 36% when it was set to 20%. It will run through that defrost on and off cycle for hours because I have a Bluetooth monitor in the basement. I understand the basement is cool (58-61 degrees), but the other dehumidifier didn’t have this issue. I changed my mind about this dehumidifier though because yesterday I went into the basement to clean mold off the rafters and door. This caused the humidity in the basement to rise to 61%. Knowing how much the dehumidifier struggles in cold weather, I reset it to 40%. I checked after an hour and could see the humidity dropping 1% every 10-15 minutes! When I woke up this morning, the humidity reading was 37% and had been that way for hours. That makes me feel better about introducing more moisture down there due to cleaning (and I need to fog, too). Since the bulk of my moisture issues occur in the spring and summer when it’s warmer, I think this is definitely the unit for the job. I’ll try setting it lower when the temperature warms up, since I’d like to get it super dry down there for a bit. Also, the wheels and sturdy handles were invaluable for me, since I had to move this unit across the house and down to the basement by myself. I have it draining into a condensate pump.

We live in a humid area. So I have purchased a ton of dehumidifiers. The unit in my garage started flaking so I decided to spend slightly more on this model. What a difference. It dropped the humidity 25% in a few hours. The wheels make it much easier to manage.
