As far as quality of camera goes: I bought the 2 pack and the home base because I had an issue with an unusually high water bill and the water company told me they thought someone was taking water from me. The day after receiving my package I only had enough daylight to install one of the cameras. The next day while I was at work someone tried to break in my home while my wife and 6yo were home. Sheriff's department was called and footage was shown. The officer immediately commented on the clarity of the footage. Once the report was completed the officer asked what make /model the cameras where and stated he was going to replace his current set up with the Eufys. The suspect was caught 2 hours later thanks to the clear footage. I am thankful I got the one camera installed when I did. I am also thankful for their quality. I like that they have solar cameras, so I don't have to recharge them. We placed them high up on our roof, so no one could take them. Excellent, highly recommend. Was looking for a camera set up with no monthly subscription. Found Eufy, bought the 2 solo cams E42 with the home base. Yes it was pricey but it will pay for itself long term. The battery is always at 100% even living in the PNW. Yes the sensors do detect little things like the bushes moving in the wind sometimes but every camera does that. The app works well, I plan to buy more cameras in the future. Set up was a breeze. We use this to monitor package delivery and piece of mind when we are gone from the house, its not perfect, but its also not a professional set up, manage your expectations. Battery life is fantastic as the solar keeps it topped off. I get the notifications reliably from all cameras. Quite durable. Weather hasn’t caused any issues and due to the crazy weather we’ve been having, they’ve withstood all of the rain, Ice, hail, and heat. Mounting was easy.
