when my wife and I found out we were having a baby I did a ton of research on baby monitor cameras and I ended up going with an Arlo baby (which was already discontinued so I bought used on eBay) for all the cool features it has, built in battery, air quality sensors, night light, lullaby, etc. after using it for 4 months I was ready to pull my hair out. I never used half of the features and there were some annoying quirks that reduced the usability. so I decided to look for a new camera. This Eufy may not have all the features of a dedicated baby monitor camera, (altho it does have a few but since im using it with homekit they are disabled, not Eufys fault but apple's) but it makes up for it in just all around usability. it always connects, video quality looks good, night vision as well, homekit may reduce some features due to apples policy but adds a ton of other functionality, and I know it works with some other services as well altho I haven't tested them. This is a fantastic camera for the price and I would recommend to anyone. ... show more

EUFY 2K Indoor plug-in camera works great. Easy to setup, micro SD Slot to record video without paying a subscription to a service, don't trust anyone who could access my videos. Secure login and account, no one but me has access. Alerts you when someone's in view and records. 2 way talk and siren feature to warn intruder your watching. Really nice function is you can toggle between night/infrared or standard vision. Images are crystal clear too. I like being able to live view when alerted also. Another feature with the app is you can delete any or all of your videos when you want. No doing it one by one, select all, confirm and boom, clean storage. I dropped it once but no damage, no rattling of parts inside either. Also a nice feature is you can set it to show when it's recording if you want (blue light on front when recording) or not. Overall I'm super happy with this little camera. CAUTION don't buy any micro SD bigger then 128gb, I made that mistake thinking more space, right. Camera will only support 128gb or less. Absolutely love this eufyCam C35 kit. The biggest reason I’m giving it 5 stars is the battery life — it lasts a really long time and I’m not constantly thinking about charging. The fact that it’s wireless also makes installation super easy, since you can mount the cameras pretty much anywhere without dealing with wiring or outlets. Video quality is excellent, and the cameras have been reliable so far with solid motion detection. I also really like that it offers local storage with no monthly fee, which is a big plus compared to a lot of other systems. I have been using this camera for at least a year now. I bought this camera to keep an eye on my dog while I'm out running errands or at work. Overall the quality of the camera is great for just $40. It was very easy to set up, is portable, and connects to wifi. I tend to stay at an Airbnb for a few months at a time for work and it makes me feel safe to be able to check-in on my dog or have a camera in general to watch my stuff. I can also provide access to my family members so they can also check in to make sure I'm safe. The camera and sound quality is pretty good but there is a like hum noise that you will hear, which is minor. You will need to buy a small memory card if you want to have recordings saved. You can change the settings one when the camera records or if you want it to constantly record. Often the camera will sense something and record when in fact there was nothing to trigger it. The app is easy to use. I have not had any complications with the app or the camera so far. I would consider purchasing Eufy products again in the future. Anker is the parent company and they've been around for years. Anker IS Eufy so I have faith in their products. I like that I can monitor my home myself or hire them to monitor for me. I like that they don't sell my information or use it to advertise more products to me. I have the cameras placed in and around my home and I'm quite confident in how well they work. I've had three for three years and just recently added a fourth. I'm looking to add an outside one as well along with some dummy cameras. I had a package thief for a while however my camera caught them. Because we have the same landlord I offered the thief the opportunity to return my things and never do it again or I would give the video to the police and the landlord. Needless to say my packages are now safe. The camera did its job, it was clear and obvious who it was. These are the most affordable security system cameras you can have I recommend them to my friends - especially ones who are musicians with hundreds of thousands of dollars of musical equipment. They have hired the monitoring service and are very pleased with how they are as far as reporting attempted crimes to 911. Most musicians aren't rich so having an affordable system that they can feel confident in is important. ... show more

    • The Little Indoor Camera That Refused to Die

I’d like to start by formally apologizing to the manufacturer’s legal department. I ignored your “indoor use only” warnings like I ignore speed limits and honestly? I think I’ve created a monster. I mounted this dainty little thing under the "safety" of my detached garage—which, in Mississippi terms, means it’s protected by approximately three shingles and a prayer. For years, this camera has been subjected to a climate that is essentially a rotating cycle of Deep Fryer Heat, Steaming Swamp Humidity, and the occasional Frozen Tundra. The Current State of Affairs: • Audio Quality: At this point, the microphone sounds like a ghost screaming into a vacuum cleaner underwater. To be fair, after being blasted by five years of sideways hurricanes, I’d probably stop talking clearly, too. • Durability: This camera has survived weather that would make a Navy SEAL reconsider their career choices. It has been waterboarded by Mother Nature and baked at 105°F, yet it refuses to quit. • Connectivity: It’s now reliably paired with Apple HomeKit. I’m convinced it only stays connected out of pure spite for the engineers who told it that it belonged on a bookshelf in a temperature-controlled living room. The Verdict: If you want a camera that follows the rules, buy something else. If you want an indoor camera that has developed the hardened soul of a Mississippi Delta bluesman and refuses to succumb to the sweet embrace of death despite my best efforts to drown it, this is the one. I’m half-convinced that if a tornado leveled the garage, I’d just find this camera floating in a puddle, still dutifully sending me a notification that a squirrel is in the driveway. ... show more

I bought one new to test this product out & it worked great… so in buying a 2nd security cam i tried the renewed (aka refurbished) option… its extremely blurry & unusable. They allegedly plan to send me a replacement but we shall see.
