Make sure you have professional assistance near by. I expected there would be some assembly required, but not the extent I got. After getting it all together, with video instructions that were almost useless, the manual was found in the battery compartment, under the battery. Imagine my surprise to find that the bike could come anywhere from 95 to 85% assembled. When we got it together, I had a flat tire and it broke off of the valve stem. Then after getting that fixed, on my second errand, after dismounting, I was trying to maneuver it to lock it to a lamp post when it took off on it’s own. Purchased the scout and all I can say is what a cool machine! The quality and attention to detail stand out right away, and what a comfortable seat! My wife and I are around 100 pounds apart in weight and 6 inches apart in height and we both fit comfortably on it. The range it has is really a factor of why I love the scout so much, I can ride it for hours and it’ll still have more juice in it for the next day. It is visibly a really well-designed e-bike, it feels quite durable and I haven't had any issues since I purchased it. It's already been well over a month since I bought it.
