I love Estée Lauder, but I’m not in love with this mascara. It covers my lashes. Well but it leaves a lot of clumps while you’re brushing on your lashes probably not gonna buy this again, but I gave it a four star because it works. It’s just a lot of clumps definitely does not look natural.

Great mascara for an affordable price

I've been testing this for a couple months trying to decide whether I like it or not. I generally really like Lancome products, and have used some different mascaras like Lash Idole that I love. This one just falls short for me, it performs worse than many drugstore mascaras and falls short of the claims made by the brand. The tube itself is large and nice looking, the wand however leaves much to be desired. The brush bristles are incredibly short and collect too much product. I had to wipe a lot off to keep it from coating my lashes in a think goopy layer, the bristles are not long enough to define the lashes and I would have to go in with a clean spoolie to brush out. (picture shows two coats brushed out with a clean spoolie, I still had some clumps on the ends of my lashes to pick off) The formula is also very wet off the bat, one reason why I kept testing intermittently for two months was to see if it would improve if it dried out a little. It got a tiny bit better but not enough to make it good. I would say it is good for volume, but does very little to lengthen, probably due to the poor design of the spoolie. I would agree with the brand claims that it doesn't flake or smudge, but there's nothing about it that resists clumping without special attention paid to application. The value is just not there. I would have the same complaints if this was a $10 drugstore mascara, the fact that it is three times as much puts it on the high end even for prestige cosmetics. I can't recommend, if you want a good Lancome mascara go for Lash Idole.

WOW!!! This mascara is incredible!!! I’m a 71-year-old woman whose eyelashes have been disappearing over the years. I had stopped using my favorite Estee Lauder mascara due to the price. Well, I am back! This mascara gives me miraculous length and fullness without being clumpy. In fact, the only thing clumpy was the brush. I’m so glad that I was forewarned by reading the reviews. Try it, you’ll love it!!!

Let me tell you: this is my favorite mascara!! Reviews said it was terrible. I received a sample while at the mall one day, and thought I’d try it out. Yes, there be a little clumping if I apply it in a rush. Otherwise, it gives my lashes great volume, extension and color. This is for sure my mascara!

I typically don’t use mascara much anymore because I use Lashify. But when I do full glam, I do feel like my bottom lashes are missing something. So I figured I’d try this out. I did not like it on my bottom lashes, but it did well on my top lashes. I deducted 1 star because I just wouldn’t pay $33 for a mascara. I can’t justify it. But the formula itself isn’t bad. I like how my lashes looked after using it. I left it on for a few hours while I was doing household chores and didn’t notice any flaking or smearing. It gave my lashes a little extra length and definitely gave volume! All in all, it’s not a bad mascara. I’ve definitely had bad mascaras and this isn’t one of them. The formula is good, but the price tag is just too high for me personally. If you’re looking for a good, higher end mascara, I’d definitely recommend this though. If the price tag isn’t a hinderance to you.

I decided to pay more for what I thought would be a higher quality of mascara. The advertisement promises no flaking. Not true. This mascara was clumpy from the get-go. It flaked like no other. It’s seriously unwearable. I have resorted back to my cheapy stuff.
