This castor oil has a very strong smell. But I know some castor oil does indeed. I mix it with my coconut oil and they moisturize me wonderfully. The only issue I encountered was getting the pump to release when I was first opening the bottle. So the only reason I removed a star was due to the smell. First and foremost, I bought this specific product because it came with a pump, which I wanted, because Castor oil can be a bit of a mess to apply. The pump does not work. At all. Secondly, this particular oil has some weird hybrid, smell of cheese, poop, and sesame seed oil. It’s actually disgusting, and I will only be able to use this at night, when no one else is around me. And finally, it seems to not soak in even half as quick as some of the other brands that I’ve used, even ones that were way thicker. I will use this bottle up, but I am not a fan. ... show more

Originally bought to get rid of the moles in the backyard (which it did) then my wife started using the rest of the bottle for her hair, then my daughters hair, she also noticed their nails started to grow faster and stronger just by being exposed when she did her hair, we tried in the car leather seats and it restored the original appearance, drink a little once a week and clean your stomach and feel detoxed, now we are using it also in the cat’s paws, I also noticed that if you mixed with water of about 2% -98% and wash the windshield if the cars it has the same effect of the expensive rain-x so I used it on the house windows to keep them clean longer and realized that keep the bugs away from the windows, use the same solution on your tv screen and phones and eliminate the fingerprint marks, make a little stronger (5%-95%) and rub your car tires and it does the same as armorall but looks not so shinny which it works for me, we are finding new ways to use it everyday so I see more to come in the update review. ... show more

I purchased this item and transferred the castor oil & stickers to an amber glass dispenser I found on amazon. (As I read that castor oil should be kept in a glass container & not a plastic one this one comes in) the product does come with a pump that’s helpful. I used it until I received my glass bottles. I like that the oil wasn’t slick. This particular castor oil has a thick consistency and does not feel sticky on the skin after applying it. I bought it to apply to my legs. I’m enjoying it so far.
