After I opened the packaging it looked like the lounge might have been used or at least returned. Small areas in the "joints" where two pieces came together looked rusted and where the fabric had been folded and attached it looked frayed. It's too big and cumbersome for me to try to return it-so I'll keep it. It is easy to get in and out of as the fabric is tight and supporting .

Now, I did fall flat on my belly thinking the front legs where in place. The fact is, there is a safety lock that makes it really hard for the legs to give out if you snap them in place correctly, wish a not had been on there though, because when I tripped and grabbed the foot of the chaise I expected to stop but just kept going until I was on the ground. Now about the chaise. Firstly, it is almost impossible to find anything but "zero-gravity" chaise and that does not give me the full stretch I need for my knees. It is sturdy enough for my +200 lbs, wide enough and sits higher than most which helps me get up with my bad knees. I thought I ordered gray but the brown is really nice. I just added an old twin bed feather down mattress cover that I covered many years ago and put away and it became perfect to relax on my carport on, the patio, and the yard. You just can't go wrong with this purchase unless you miss the great price of $74.00 that I was able to capture even before prime day.

I have been to the most expensive resorts, the most prestigious hotels, & every one of them have chaise lounges on the beach, around the pools & anywhere there is sunshine. Do you know how much they pay for those lounge chairs? Up to $1000 EACH!! (I have priced them out--some even higher!) And are they comfortable? Of course they are--you paid $1000 for a chair, it MUST be comfortable. Well, these Esright Chaise lounge chairs are equally comfortable, equally beautiful, & MOST important--they are SO inexpensive, that we bought 2 of them! And they feel, look & work just like the expensive ones--FOR A FRACTION OF THE PRICE! You cannot go wrong buying these chairs for your own "resort"! And you better buy more than one--EVERYBODY is going to want to lounge on it!

During this COVID crisis, all our swimming pools have taken away pool furniture and we have to bring our own chairs to the pools now. I can't lounge and tan on a regular beach chair so I needed something that lays flat and adjusts to a seating position as well but more importantly also folds. This item is perfect for my criteria and people at the pool thought I stole the pools furniture lounge chaise, but it's my own ;) Only slight negative was how heavy the chair is while carrying folded and not the easiest to carry with the bottom of the chair trying to come undone while carrying it folded ... Otherwise, great product for the situation.

Very pleased...nice, sturdy chair. Six horizontal steel bars underneath the fabric give support so it does not sag and the textilene fabric is easy to clean. It is portable but not light - and opening / closing it does require a bit of maneuvering with both hands, but I would much rather take my time with a sturdy chair than zip through a flimsy, folding one. It doesn't recline completely flat, yet at 170º, you may still lay comfortably on your stomach for a while, just bear in mind this position could cause a bit of back strain if done for too long. I can definitely recommend this product !

I went ahead and ordered this product despite it not being Prime. That was my first mistake. I purchased this to take with us camping, so compact was important. The product appears to be compact when folded and easy to move around-it's not! The actual weight of the product is not mentioned in the description-it is about 23 pounds. The product arrived with a couple of flaws, I could see where the metal had been painted over to cover a scratch, some of the mesh was defective. The gear in the arm was almost impossible to move in order to adjust how far back the chair was set at. The chair itself is very awkward and difficult to open and get the chair set up so you can actually set in it. After checking out all of this, I decided to return-well as stated above my first mistake was that it wasn't a part of Prime-the cost to return this product is $20 dollars MORE than the cost of the chair. So I'm stuck with a defective, cheap product.
