I don’t normally leave reviews, but I am very happy this outdoor wicker egg chair! Shipping was fast and it was very easy to assemble. It is so gorgeous and such a beautiful addition to my new patio. Also my husband who is 6’3 and 230 pounds sat very comfortably in the chair.

After reading reviews of several different egg chairs, I decided to pick this one because it had the best reviews and several purchases. I am very pleased with this chair and have very few negative comments. PROS: It is very stable (for now - I’ll update this review if anything changes), the size is perfect for young adults, it does not weigh too much and easy to move around! The cushions are somewhat fluffy but after sitting for about 20-30 minutes it starts to be a bit uncomfortable. This can easily be fixed with additional pillows or throw blankets. Unsure about water resistance, but I will update that. The color is just as described and I am very happy with my purchase! It is very cute and the perfect addition to a patio/balcony/bedroom etc. CONS: Overall, I chose to give 4 stars instead of 5 because I truly think it’s a wonderful product. However, as the reviews suggested, the assembly is a nightmare!! It’s not entirely back-breaking, but it definitely was not simple. DEFINITELY do it with another person, I promise it will make your life ten times easier. I also recommend assembling it all together with LOOSE screws and then after completing it, go back and tighten everything so you can line everything up. My next concern is the back end/side of the chair. Though it fits well, something was either bent in transit or just made poorly. One side fits perfectly but the other side has a small gap (I’ll include pictures). My last concern is the wicker surrounding the chair. The metal beams that hold things in place are wrapped tightly with the bamboo (plastic?) and the bottom of the chair is very sturdy. However, the tape that strings from beam to beam seems to be made very cheaply and I am worried about durability. A few pieces also came slightly bent but not bad enough to be the end of the world. ALSO, one of the strings/tape was wrapped around the beam where the screw was supposed to fit so that was very difficult to get around but I made it work! I used a small handheld electric screwdriver to assemble everything. It would be absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to hand tighten everything and it would take hours. I would not recommend using a large drill because it would not fit in the grooves to reach the screws. Something small and narrow will do the trick. SUMMARY: Overall, this is a great product. Size is perfect, color is perfect, doesn’t weigh too much and looks incredible. There were some downsides: difficult assembly, questionable comfortability, one piece is unaligned, and the plastic tape does not seem extremely durable.

This chair is perfect size if your looking for an egg chair that’s not huge. Took awhile to put together. it was hard to balance the pieces as you where getting the screws in. So two people would be a little easier. The directions I’ve you out the chair together before putting the legs on. I put the seat together first then the legs before putting the top pieces on. Found it easier because you can have the seat standing up on the legs which made putting the top pieces on easier. The pillow attachments are huge and thick padded. It’s very comfortable to curl up and relax and read a book. Was surprised with the delivery charge having Amazon prime but was still cheaper then others I have found.

the screw insets for the foot of chair came out of their holes during install because of how weirdly angled the insets are. overall while aesthetically pleasing to look at, the wobbliness of the chair made this a poor experience overall for something i was excited about.even after applying epoxy to fit the insets back, still had issues because of the weird angles the insets for the foot of the chair are positioned. sad
