The frame arrived in perfect alignment, which made assembling the chair itself a snap. The frame comes in six pieces: two sides, a back, the seat, the legs, and the “ceiling”. The directions are a little wonky “…use four item three bolts, eight item five washers, and four item seven nuts…” which can make your head spin a little — each part is numbered or lettered clearly, the writing is just needlessly complex. Do yourself a favor and slice the packaging open from the front so you preserve the numeric assignment given to each part; the bolts are all similar in length and appearance, so this could get dicey if they got accidentally mixed together. The chair, once built, is wonderfully comfy and stylish. It’s become my go-to reading chair for cooler mornings. Seems to be sturdy and high quality materials, which we’ll enjoy for years to come! ... show more

This is by far one of the best Amazon purchases I have made probably in my entire life. I am in love with my chair. It’s like sitting in a very luxurious cocoon. I was able to put it together myself because I was impatient and determined, but it would have been easier with two people. Nonetheless, I was victorious. This thing is sturdy. I am not a small person, but even I can sit comfortably every which way in this beast of a chair. It is huge, plush, comfy, and not to mention absolutely gorgeous. It is truly great quality and well made. I am also impressed with the weather resistance this chair has. When it rains, rain beads and/or pools on the outside of the cushions and is not really absorbed. The cushions never soak up water so I never have to worry about it drying out after a storm. I have no regrets purchasing this even though it was somewhat pricey. It’s well worth the price it’s comfortable and it gives your patio area a great vibe to sit out and relax during a sunny day or even watching the rainfall the assembly for a single person can be very Difficult with teamwork it isn’t bad at all to build. I’m very pleased with this chair, pretty easy to put together, sturdy and oversized for a person to curl up in. The padding is nice and firm, the material seems nicely weather resistant. I did get a cover to put on it to keep clean from bird dung and spider webs. Stylish and sleek, it’s a nice looking chair to display on a patio, sun room or porch. Only drawback was one of the sections had a pice of wicker that was broken and coming unwrapped around the frame. Easy enough to fix with some glue, hopeful that will do the trick, didn’t want to have to send this back and delay my enjoyment of my new reading chair. overall I definitely recommend this chair. ... show more

Bought this chair for our patio in Florida. I loved it as soon as I opened the box! Extremely sturdy construction and very thick cushions. Goes excellently with our other patio furniture. Only down fall is my husband enjoys sitting in it, so I get little time in it!

This got a lot of negative reviews stating that the holes don’t line up, it wobbles, the tools were poor quality, it unravels, the paint was terrible, etc. I guess I got lucky because I had ZERO issues with the chair I received. I was able to set it up all by myself, every hole lined up, it doesn’t wobble at all and is very sturdy. I didn’t have one issue that all do the negative reviews brought up. I think my only two complaints are that it would be nice if the cushions had the ribbons on the back to attach to the chair so the cushion doesn’t slide out. And because the chair is egg shaped / rounded, it would be nice if the back cushion was more supportive because sitting back is a bit awkward and uncomfortable. But an extra decorative throw pillow might do the trick. ... show more

Pretty comfortable and light weight. Had some issues with the screw holes not lining up so I had to use a clamp to be able to pull the two sides together. I also lost one of the bolts in assembly and there are no extras provided so my seat is shy one screw, however it seems as thought it’s plenty sturdy and won’t be an issue for the future. ... show more
