  • PLEAS READ BEFORE BUYING - DETAILED REVIEW
This company must be paying for reviews. This same machine is posted several times on amazon with HORRIBLE reviews. I fell victim to the scam and bought it. I was a Starbucks batista for a good part of my younger life. I may not be an expert but I have a decent knowledge base of espresso machines and how they should work. This one is....garbage. First- GLARING design flaw. You are told to pull your espresso shots BEFORE FROTHING YOUR MILK. As anyone will tell you an espresso shot should not sit longer than 8 seconds or it becomes bitter (not to mention cold) meaning your milk needs to be frothed before you pull shots. At Starbucks we had to THROW SHOTS AWAY if they sat more than 8 seconds. Second - the espresso. Besides being awkward to load and use...this machine just pumps water through the chamber until you turn it off. It is not measured. It doesn't pour an actual shot. It just floods water through the grounds until you say stop. Then the extra water sits in the chamber. And drops slowly into your shot. As anyone knows a shot should be a certain number of ounces and should be pressurized to pass a certain amount if water through the espresso and then cut off, ending with a creamy head. This just shoves water theough until you stop it. So there is no way to regulate the strength of your shot and there is no "end of the shot" to create a creamy head. It then drips unpressurize water through the grounds into your shot until you remove the cup. It. Tastes. Awful. Then - while your watery overflowing weak espresso shot sits and gets cold and bitter you are to switch the machine to froth and froth your milk (in your own pitcher because they sure don't include one!). Unfortunately it will take 4 or 5 minutes of "frothing" to bring your milk to even being room temperature. And there is no froth. Cappuccinos? Not with this machine. Not if your life depended on it. The steam is intermitten and sort of works here and there. Mostly it blasts luke warm air into your milk. And dribbles water into it from the wand attachment that is not properly sealed. The result is luke warm milk with a couple of mico bubbles. Now add your luke warm unfrothed milk to your now ice cold bitter watery espresso shot and viola - literally the worst cup of anything I have ever put to my lips. If you thought maybe it was user error and reviewed the instructions to see where you went wrong youd find that they are in very very broken English and make 0 sense. Returning immediately and purchasing an actual espresso machine. Any positive reviews for this hunk of garbage must have been solicited and purchased. Because it is absolutely worthless. Unless you want to torture someone with awful coffee beverages until they crack and tell you all of their secrets ala Guantanamo Bay. Or want to make someone want to kill themselves voluntarily. ... show more

  • Absolutely love my espresso machine!
Color: Silver
I'm so super happy with my new espresso maker I just have to write a review and just to think I almost returned it! When at first went to clean it by running water through I wanted to make a cup of espresso and test it, it wasn't working! No water running through nor steam! OH NO! needles to say I was very disappointed and immediately want it to return it, so I started the process of return. I started to re-box it to send back but I thought I check it out again, I'm so glad I did! My mistake, when I unpacked it, I didn't see a piece of plastic that covered the line that the water runs through therefore of course no water as coffee was being made, also I wasn't fully pressing the frothing button so it wasn't heating up, oops! 🤭 huge oversight. I'm happy to say that my machine works perfectly, it's very easy to use and clean, It makes very hot espresso just the way I like it and heats and froths the milk for my mochas just perfect, I had stopped going to the coffee houses, they make the mochas too sweet plus are very expensive, I can now enjoy my own at home anytime and as many as I want. YES I RECOMMEND IT, What are you waiting for get one! Very happy with my purchase, M.A. ... show more

  • Perfect for what I was looking for!!
Color: Silver
I wanted a machine I could make flavored iced lattes with that was easy and comparable to what I was buying at my local shop. I love this machine. It's easy to use, fast, easy to clean and a great price. I bought monin syrups and cafe bustelo espresso grounds and its exactly what I wanted for a quick iced latte at home. My husband is pleased that it doesn't take much counter space and I've been getting a lot of use out of it. I brought iced lattes in for 4 coworkers and the machine had no problem handling the back to back drinks. Very pleased! ... show more

  • For the price, it pulls a very good shot
I had been researching espresso machines for a while and did not want to drop over $500 for a machine. This little work horse gets the job done. It was very easy to set up and make shots with. The frother also works well. It comes with a warming plate for the cups and I think that is a nice touch. There are no bells and whistles but gets the job done. ... show more

  • Great Crema, Poor Froth
Day 1 - pulls an excellent shot. Really surprised at the quality of crema on the espresso pull, nearly a half inch on a double. I am less impressed with the frother - particularly the nozzle. I've tried half a dozen ways of frothing milk with it, and every time it cannot, from any angle or depth, get a swirl going. It just creates a layer of bubbles instead. This could be user error, or just a poor nozzle design. I can also see how others "might" get it to leak. The water reservoir is not a single piece of plastic, but has overlapped corners. I have a feeling if it drops or hits something it won't hold up too well. Keep your coffee space clear! And of course, use a wet rag to clean everything when pulling a shot. Regardless, I'd say it's a fantastic entry-level machine into the world of espresso. Good for beginners to practice with. I will update my review on the day it breaks or if I learn something new. ... show more
