  • Works well, easy to use
So the first thing I need to say is this is my first experience with an espresso machine, so I don't have past experience to compare it to. What I *can* say is that even without past experience, I had my first homemade latte within about 20 minutes of opening the box, and that included time to research the proper way to steam and foam milk. And it was delicious. Still on the topic of experience, it's not worth docking a star for, but the instructions could be a little more beginner-friendly. I did have to look up a video or two about steaming milk, and what the difference is between a single, double, or lungo shot. Others might not need those explanations. I did, and they weren't in the instructions, but I was able to find them easily elsewhere. The functionality is everything I personally want in an espresso maker. You can make a single shot, double shot, lungo, or cold brew. You can also get hot water practically instantly, and of course it has the steaming function. It also has a cleaning feature that I appreciate. The finished product tastes good, assuming of course you're using beans that you like, and it has that coffeehouse flavor that I haven't been able to achieve through other home brewing methods. The durability seems good, although I suppose the important parts (heating and compression) are internal so I can't really evaluate them. I guess time will tell if they hold up. It looks really nice sitting on the counter. Most of it isn't a fingerprint magnet, and it wipes clean easily. The touchscreen buttons are clear and properly labeled, and they work easily with just a light tap. Apart from the instruction manual assuming at least some familiarity with espresso, the only other thing I noticed (and maybe this is standard for home espresso machines) is that the little cup that holds the grinds is a little hard to remove from the handle thing that twists onto the dispenser part. It comes with two of those baskets, shaped slightly differently on the inside to vary the amount of grinds I suppose, and at first I thought I only had one because the other one was already installed in the handle. Eventually I realized that and figured out how to remove it, which is good because it probably needs to come out for cleaning purposes. Basically there are little indents on each side of the basket, and you have to pry it out with your fingernails (or possibly the end of a spoon or similar). Not a big deal once you figure it out. My wife and I both love espresso and the drinks based on it, so we're thrilled to have this machine. There's no way we're going to take the extra time to use it every weekday morning, but for those times when we want a little something beyond a quick single-cup pourover, this is a fantastic device to have on hand. ... show more

  • Great Starter Espresso Machine
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Starter Espresso Machine — Stylish & Fun to Use, With Some Limitations I got the Acaspresso Espresso Machine for Home with Milk Frother as a gift for a coffee lover, and it’s been a fun addition to the kitchen countertop. Here’s how it stacks up after using it for a few weeks: What I Like • Touchscreen Controls: The touchscreen interface is intuitive and easy to navigate — a nice upgrade from button-only machines in this price range. • 20 Bar Pump: It delivers solid pressure for a good crema on espresso shots, especially impressive for a small home machine. • Milk Frother Included: The built-in milk frother makes lattes and cappuccinos easy. It produces decent micro-foam for milk-based drinks without too much hassle. • 41oz Water Tank: A generous reservoir means fewer refills, great for multiple drinks in a row. • Versatile Drinks: Cappuccinos, lattes, and even cold brew recipes are doable with a bit of practice — perfect for experimenting and playing barista at home. Room for Improvement • Learning Curve: Like most home espresso machines, it takes a bit of practice to dial in grind size, dose, and tamping to get consistent shots. Not as automatic as higher-end machines. • Frother Power: The frother works well, but it’s not as forceful as professional steam wands — fine for everyday drinks but not café-level micro-foam. Pros: • User-friendly touchscreen • Strong 20 bar pressure • Large water tank • Good milk frothing for home use • Stylish, compact design • Great gift for coffee lovers Cons: • Takes some practice to perfect espresso shots • Frother not as powerful as pro machines Overall, this is a very nice mid-range home espresso machine that’s easy to use, looks good on the counter, and makes solid espresso and milk drinks. For anyone who loves coffee and wants a machine they’ll actually use every day, this is a worthwhile pick — especially as a gift. ☕️✨ ... show more

  • Good coffee, comparable to Breville.
This espresso machine works wonderfully! The package comes with the machine, porta filter (and 2 puck screens), a scoop/tamper, and instructions. The machine has single shot, double shot, lungo, cold brew, cleaning, and steam (and hot water) options. I tested the Acaspresso machine (A.) against the Breville (B.) Barista Express and it held it's own. I used pre-packaged Peet's ground coffee, same amounts (single shot). I used my husband as the taste tester and he said he could not distinguish any difference in the taste. When making the shots, both machines took the same amount of time and yielded just about the same amount. The only physical difference I saw was that Acaspresso had a lot more creama. Also, the weight of the porta filter was significantly different, A. at 152 grams and B. at 425 grams. I don't know if this makes any difference, but from the test, the coffee turned out the same. There is a milk frother that also worked flawlessly and has a plastic cover to protect your hands from the heat as you use it. The cover can be removed for easy cleaning. Instructions say not to use it more than 90seconds, which is plenty of time to get your milk nice and hot. The only thing I did not like about the Acaspresso is that I was a little confused on how to use it in the beginning. Once I understood what to do, the machine worked fine. So, comparing Acapresso with Breville, they are pretty even. Acapresso is half the footprint of the Breville, holds a good amount of water, and produces great coffee. It also is able to heat up milk and it is easy to use. The only difference with the Acapresso to the Breville is that the does not have a hopper to grind the beans. Of course the price difference is also significant. Overall, I think Acapresso wins. ... show more
