I have owned semi professional espresso makers ranging from $300-$3000. I have to say this machine is nothing short of magical. Its value for the price is off the charts. While it’s not as versatile as the machines 10 times its price it’s bread and butter espresso is more than good enough and blows away Nespresso and other machines in that price range. This is perfect MACHINE to have either in the office or somewhere. We don’t have time to waste and if you want to make a drink with milk. The steam function is basically ready within 10 seconds. Bought this for my "first entry" into home espresso. Easy to use, easy to clean. Seems solid. Comes with one and two cup portafilters, preheats quickly, and really is single button operation. Power on to preheat. Hit one or two cup button and you're done. Results taste good. I highly recommend a spring-loaded tamper to go along with it as the unit comes with a plastic one on the end of the scoop. ... show more

The machine works great for espresso but the froth keeps giving out hot water. I have followed the manual and tried for days but no luck there

I was used to making shots manually and it took some time getting used to not having to stop the pour. My morning coffee now takes less than half the time is used to. Great machine that makes great espresso!

    • Works well for the most part
I've been using this espresso machine for a couple months now. Overall I really like it, but there is one error in its functionality. The main issue I've noticed is there is no low water indicator on the screen. Once I didn't realize the water was low and made coffee. It was very low and I didn't understand until I looked at the water tank. It was nearly empty and there weren't any light indicators flashing about low water. So you have to keep an eye on the water tank. The good news is the quality of the coffee is really good. It's easy to use overall. The directions included are really, really well done. I don't use the milk frother because I apparently don't do well without a lid, so I use a separate frother. I had a hard time with the frother on this machine. It could just be me since this is my first espresso machine. I do use this machine everyday to make a chocolate cinnamon espresso drink in the mornings and it's the best. ... show more
