I bought this machine Nov 2024. I loved it!!! But in Nov 2025 the milk brother stopped working. It looks like a washer disintegrated. I tried to replace with a hardware store washer to no avail. Make sure you buy the 3 year warranty

Update #2: So I’m changing my rating again. I’ve had the (new) machine for less than a year. All of sudden this morning the machine just emptied the entire contents of milk from the reservoir. Usually, it stops anywhere between 200-300mLs. Today, it drained the entire reservoir of barely steamed milk into my cup. It barely froths milk anymore and you can hear the difference. Updating to 1 star because I shouldn’t have this many problems and it should last longer than a year. Now I have to buy another machine that definitely won’t be this brand. Update #1: Customer service reached out to me upon seeing my review. It turns out I had a defective machine. They asked me to send a video of what the machine was doing (leaking) and then sent me a brand new one! The entire process was quick and easy. Now I have a new machine that functions exactly as it should. I love it! My favorite drink to make is a double latte. My advice to you if you have a problem with your machine is to reach out to their customer service team. 5 STAR customer service. Original review: When I make a 2 cup latte the machine leaks around the basket, when I make a 1 cup latte it doesn’t leak. I checked the gasket and it’s intact, no cracks or defects. Other than that I works great but the output amounts (in mls) listed in the manual don’t match the actual output. ... show more

    • Disappointing
UPDATE: I was contacted by the company after my initial review. It seems they do have good customer service! I didn't bother responding because I no longer have the machine, but I'm confident they would have worked to improve my opinion. I did return this machine and got one without the milk frother. I'm not sure I would ever buy this kind of setup again because the main issues seem to be part of the design of all of them. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was so excited about a machine that did the milk by itself, but could not get consistent results and returned it. Cons: - Plastic taste - I thought this was just a new machine thing so I ran about 10 cycles with water in the milk reservoir and the "clean" setting. That seemed to help things a bit. Unfortunately, the machine is wildly inconsistent and about half the time it uses a lot more steam in the milk. When it does, the plastic taste returns. - Inconsistent - With all the setting the same*, the amount that comes out of the machine (coffee + milk) varies from about 1/3 of a latte mug to 2/3 of the same mug. Neither is what I would consider a large latte; but when it underperforms, it's less than a diner mug. * (Large latte, milk set to latte and NOT clean, water and milk reservoirs full, same amount and type of grounds) - No Out-of-Water Alarm - My other espresso makers have beeped and stopped when it runs out of water in the reservoir. This one does not. Not only does it use a lot more in every cycle because of the milk frother, it just keeps doing its thing even when it's bone dry. The reservoir is along the back and difficult to see so this happens with some regularity. - Milk Reservoir - There are several problems here: SPOUT - The metal spout that puts the milk into the coffee also doesn't have any kind of alarm to tell you that it's not extended. So if you load the thing and then make coffee with it pointed down, it will shoot hot milk everywhere! That's dangerous! HEAT - Seems like a really good idea at first and was delighted that I could simply remove it and put it in the fridge for the next usage like other reviewers said. Unfortunately, one side of it can be very hot so I had to leave it (and the milk in it) out at room temperature so I could handle it. Milk is very perishable and this isn't smart at the onset. Adding a heat source directly above it and leaving it out longer just adds to the issue. I was wasting a ton of milk because I had to add extra each time by design and then throw it out. This was made worse by... MEASUREMENTS - The graduations on the reservoir are in oz and mL. I have no idea how much milk is needed for a large latte (especially when this one always produced different volumes). - Difficult to Load - The portafilter is very difficult to put onto the body of the machine. The last 1/8th of a twist required me to brace the whole machine to get it pointing forward all the way. That usually resulted in me inadvertently pushing buttons and starting the machine if it was on. So I couldn't preheat it while setting things up. - The Tamper - It is so flimsy! It bent when I was trying to press the grounds. That's a big part of making a good espresso. - Milk Froth - I would say that the amount of froth I got on the latte setting (with the milk reservoir also set to the least frothy setting) was on par with a cappuccino. I had to scrape off several large spoonsful of foam each time. - Waste - The amount of grounds, water, and milk I wasted trying to get this thing to make a consistent cup of coffee that doesn't taste awful was very frustrating. In about 2 weeks, I got ONE really good cup of coffee out of it without having to diagnose issues with the machine or pour it out because it tasted like plastic. Pros- - Looks Nice - It's an attractive looking machine. The design with the milk reservoir is almost as compact as the last standard espresso machine it is replacing. - The milk frother is so nice in theory. ... show more
