Item: URintells Cuising Espresso Machine, 20 Bar LED Display Espresso Maker with Steam Milk Frother Price (at time of review *): $149.99 (* Note that I receive some items at discounted or zero cost through Amazon Vine participation. The price indicated is the purchase price, with or without discounts, as advertised on the product page at the time this review is posted) Pros: Well designed unit doesn't take up a lot of space with the water reservoir in the rear and a steam wand that tucks in and out. Fully digital display and multiple options, including a nozzle for hot water that allows for dispensing of water only or Americano brewing, single shot or double shot expresso. What I particularly like is that you can commit to memory the brew time for both the single and double shots, such that for those that want to brew a bit more you can set it for a longer brew time. I personally find setting 25 seconds for a single shot and 50 seconds for a double dispenses a perfect amount. There is also a steam wand which tilts away from the middle of the unit off to the side, such that you can use the steam feature for milk frothing (simply select the steam option and turn the dial on the side to turn on the steam). The machine heats up quickly and is ready to go within a minute. It comes with three filter cups (single, double, pod) which insert into the brewing lever, which then affixes solidly to the unit. For under $150 currently, this is an outstanding little unit that does it all. Cons: This isn't a machine you want around if you have small children. The steam wand dispenses extremely hot steam out the side of the unit so if you have children at all, keep this out of reach or be sure they are old enough to heed warnings to stay away. In addition to the steam being very hot, the wand itself is after use. Also, while the machine warms up and the expresso brews quickly, it is not extremely hot coming out of the brewer unless you not only preheat but run a brew cycle first. I do not drink espresso, but I love cappuccinos and lattes. This is our first espresso machine at home, so we have nothing to compare with. However, it was super easy to use and made delicious cappuccinos and lattes that the whole family enjoyed. Set up was easy. You just fill up the 44 oz water tank in the back and run water through the system before first use. After pushing the "On" button, all the buttons flash while it is warming up. Once it is hot enough, the buttons stay lit. That did not take long. We added the espresso grounds to the portafilter, and we were in business. The espresso was made very quick, and it was easy to froth the milk. The machine itself is quite compact, and it has suction cups underneath, so it stays in place. Okay so let me start off that I'm a casual coffee drinker and I've never made my own espresso. I have another machine that is just too complicated for me to be totally honest, so I never use it. This one is so easy! It's actually a very good quality feeling and working machine and it's so beginner friendly. I wish that I could get more into the advanced details of the quality of what it makes but I'm sure others more qualified can speak to this. For me, if you want an easy to use functional and quality machine I can recommend this just for that! And a really good price for what you get too! ... show more

I like to drink both double espresso and Americano, so the Americano button is very welcome and this is the first machine I've had that features one. The LED display is also useful for taking the guessing game out of the equation, and useful to monitor normal operation. The heating is fast and really doesn't need to be faster because getting the portafilter ready will take more time anyway. One thing I've learned is to never run the machine dry, or you need to re-prime the steam wand for anything to work.
