I have had these lights for 2 1/2 years. I highly recommend these lights. When looking for under cabinet lights for older cabinets, these are great. They are very low profile, they blend in under the cabinets perfectly. They give off very bright light, you can adjust the light with your hand and that is also how they go off and on with a hand wave. There is enough length in the cording when you go to plug-in that you can hide the wire so the wire is not that obvious.     • Great product. But, be careful which side you plug in the power or the motion sensor will not work

Wonderfully easy light to install unless you happen to put power cord into the wrong end of this light. These light strips have a socket on either end. One is an electrical "in" and the other side is an electrical "out" . The electrical out side is to power a second string of lights if you need something longer than one strip. If you accidentally install the light so you are plugging in the power to the electrical output side then the light strip will turn on but the motion sensor WILL NOT WORK and you will be unable to turn the LEDs off without unplugging it. When the power is put on the correct side everything works seamlessly and the light sensor turns on and off the strip or if you hold your hand under it constantly it will dim the lights Installation takes 5 minutes and requires no tools. There is nothing in the directions suggesting the side you put the electrical plug into could be an issue; however, on the strip itself there is a red sticker on the "Input side" saying this side for power. Be sure you are aware of the proper side before you mount the lights to your furniture. As for the light itself, having a motion sensor to dim and turn off the lights is extremely convenient. Strip is incredibly thin making it easy to hide under even a small light valance. ... show more

I've bought this product before and loved it so much that I had to buy it again, not because it broke, but because I left it behind when I moved. Love the fact I can dim or brighten it, or turn it off with a wave of my hand across the sensor. I like the bright white because it shows everything's true colors. It makes a great nightlight for the kitchen when on the dimmest setting. Plus they are connectable, just remember, everything on the line from the sensor on, will react to the sensor, and everything before the sensor, but conncted to the powersource, will stay on even if the sensor is activated unless you unplug it. Sensor lights can be hooked up after the sensor and will control the rest down the line, but not the ones before the sensor you are tripping. Works well with the sticky tape it comes with, if applied properly, but can be screwed up. ... show more

My wife is extremely happy. We had an old one that was almost exactly the same, but had to turn switch on/off. My wife loves this new one. We chose he WHITE LEDs. To install with the tiny screws provided, you need a tiny screw driver! Mine was short and it took some strength to seat the screws all the way. The kit includes a nice double sided adhesive strip. That might be easiest once position and alignment are determined. Definitely use crews if you want to take it with you when moving... ... show more

I purchased this to illuminate a dark kitchen counter corner. The screws are very, very small and I could not imagine trying to be a contortionist trying to screw it to the underside of my cabinet so I chose the self-adhesive strip. Much simpler and still firmly stuck to the underbelly of the cabinet. It's slim design keeps it tucked and hidden behind the lip of the cabinet overhang. The package also contained self-adhesive clips to help keep the cord hidden under the cabinet as well. Those were easy to install too. The light is very bright which I love because it illuminates the dark corner very well. I love being able to dim the light without having to touch it or turn a dial. I also love being able to turn it off and on with just a quick wave under the motion sensor. Overall, I highly recommend! ... show more

I am renting an old farmhouse, which has high ceilings. The lighting is terrible in the kitchen. The fluorescent light over the stove was always flickering and the fixture is long discontinued. I stumbled across the EShine lights and purchased a 12" led light strip and stuck it under my cabinets. I was very surprised how bright the light was and loved how I could turn it on and off with a wave of a hand and adjust brightness just by holding my hand near it. I purchased a 2nd 12" light for the stove and it it perfect. The lights are very easy to install, too. They don't go on and off by working underneath them.
