I guess I got the old version. No USB port or stretch cord but I'll survive. The best part of the cord is the mute button. I accidentally bought a different cord and it didn't have one. Well that made me unplug it with the quickness. I've found the cord's main problem is the metal prongs wear out over time and this causes it to not hold tightly and then no longer work. This product is junk. I purchased it to replace the original cord that came with my radar detector. The black cover around the wires cracked within a month on the first one that I purchased. I requested a return and was offered a replacement. I should have just returned it. I opted for the replacement thinking that I may have gotten a bad cord only to get a second one that did the same thing. It was too late to return the second on now I'm stuck with having to purchase another one from a different vendor hoping that it will be of better quality. The new cord arrived as advertised and immediately was installed in place of an older cord that was starting to fall apart at the connections to the detector. This one looks very nice and worked with no problem so we hope it will last as long as the original cord which lasted about 20 years.
