I picked up this great lamp for my son to take when he goes away to college. His dorm room is pretty tiny and so he has to limit the items he brings with him. This lamp is fantastic. Its many items all-in-one. It's a lamp that has built in spots for a cellphone holder, a penholder, and holds other items such as paper clips or tape. There are 2 USBs on it so he can charge 2 cell phones at once if he likes. Or perhaps just his cellphone and his airpods. It's so versatile. There's an easy to find knob at the bottom to turn it on and off. Even when the lamp is in the off position, the USB 's still work perfectly. It's quite bright too! Just this one lamp lights up both sides of his dorm room. I am so very happy with this and I would definitely recommend this to people. ... show more

I've had two lamps similar to this with outlets and ports but all worked whether or not the lamp was on or off. In addition, most usb cables would not go into the usb ports. Very disappointed. It does work well with Kasa plugs and Alexa. Will keep this as a back-up lamp.
