It's soft to the touch because of the velvet but definitely not soft nor firm to sit/lay on. It literally felt like I was sitting on the wood. I woke up with my hips hurting & the1 side had a lil bruise. Looks can be deceiving! No stars!

Absolutely stunning! Bought this for my daughter’s room so I didn’t want to spend too much so when I got this I figured “you get what you pay for” but wow was I surprised! It looks and feels amazing! Wouldn’t recommend for actuall sleeping but maybe if you put a mattress topper over it….

The installation is much simpler than I imagined, and the mesh storage area on both sides of the armrest is very suitable for storing some magazines and other leisure items.
