The customer service was incredible. I had several questions about the gazebo, so I emailed the customer service department at least three times before we ordered and once before we assembled and received an answer with in 24 hours each time . When I placed the order I was told to expect the 7 boxes in 10 days; they were delivered in three days. We inventoried each box for the parts and all were delivered. We even received a few extra screws and nuts. All parts were neatly packed and well protected. Assembly was as expected, a little tough. I hired two handymen and enlisted my son-in-law so there were 4 of us working. It took a solid 8 hours to complete. The instructions could be better as it is only pictures and sometimes tough to follow, but workable. I highly recommend you have power drills and or power screwdrivers (5/32 bit). We used drills instead of the one allen wrench provided. Also suggest you have at least two ladders. We had two but could have used one or two more. We only had a few areas where the holes didn't line up and we were able to enlarge the holes slightly to fit. Most important thing is to expect a long day but know it will be worth it. All I can say is WOW !!!! LOOKS GREAT !!!!! BUT HERE IS THE DOWN SIDE...... There were 4 of us. Full grown beefy guys putting this together. We started about 10:00 A.M. after coffee of course and we quit working on it at 6:00 P.M. of course we had a quick 30 minute lunch. We still have both of the long sides of the roof to put together next weekend. Trying to line things up especially with Y pieces and bolts is a real pain, including the Z & Z1 pieces continually pop out and fall down the channel as well as the Y pieces. The directions leave a lot to be desired. We still have another 1/2 day ( 4 hours ) to install the rest of the roof. One piece had a pretty good size dent in it and we were able to kinda get it back but not all the way. The freight/shipping companies obviously really don't care how they handle the product or else it would have arrived in better condition. We didn't notice it until we unpackaged the items. A BEAST to assemble. Six Packages came over the course of 2wks. Not the sellers fault. Pkgs were damaged at FedEx faculty and retaped. FedEx put the fallen screws (and there were plenty!) In a cheap clear garbage bag, that also RIPPED open. We had to sort thru about 100 random screws (they weren't marked bcuz of pkging damage).Some of the screws didn't line up correctly and some parts were slightly bend (easy fix). But all and all the gazebo is BEAUTIFUL, well made and very sturdy. Please read and reread the instructions. The neighbors are envious. Would buy again!!! ... show more

I normally wouldn't ding a product because it was damaged in transit but in this case the overwhelming majority of reviews said the product arrived damaged. The manufacturer should probably be doing something different in the way of packaging or shipping. The seller immediately sent new parts, so I'm happy with that. But I had damage consistent with other reviews - damaged rails that needed to be bent back into shape in order to slide in the roof panels, and the corners of the roof panels damaged in transit. So 4 stars. Overall this is well thought out and sturdy. It will take a minimum of 2 people to put together. Not because any part of it is really heavy, but because of the size. Instructions could have been a little more clear in some areas but overall weren't bad. It's time consuming to assemble but I wouldn't say difficult. I have it installed on a wooden deck and the feet secured with lag bolts. The corrugated, translucent panels let a decent amount of light through and still provide adequate shade. Despite not really having any seals or sealant between the roof panels, there are no leaks even during heavy rains because of the way the pieces fit together. I do see some moisture inside the panels but it does not make it inside the canopy and it dries out with the sun. And it survived the worst hail storm I've ever seen here in NJ. We'll see how it does with heavy snow. The curtains are nice to block cooler breezes or more sun if necessary. We really don't have much of an insect problem so while the screens are nice we don't really use them. ... show more
