I purchased a pair about 2 years ago and despite daily use and many washings, I'm pleasantly surprised that they look brand new. They have retained their shape and color, and they're warm except on the coldest winter days. They've outlasted the heavy polyester throws, and because of the quality of the cotton, don't make my skin itch. This is a nice blanket. It is soft and lightweight, and isn't too busy or heavy. The color is nice and I like the pattern as well. It's a good size and can easily be used as blanket on the bed or a throw on the couch.
