  • So far so Good
It wasn't too hard to put together....definitely need at least 2 people. With two of us, it only took about 2.5 hours to put together. We haven't anchored it into the concrete yet, and we have had some really strong winds and storms (in texas) and the thing didn't even move. It isn't terribly heavy (two of us can pick it up and move it easily) so I kept waiting for it to tip over or move. We will anchor it, but it was nice to see it wasn't going to get blown away easily. We were a little nervous about the top not being metal, but we find that it lets in enough light to be pleasant but really does keep the heat down. There was only one missing part....the top polycarbonate pieces were labeled according to spot and which side needed to be up facing the sun. They gave us one too many of Q2 and not enough of Q1. Wasn't a huge deal, we just flipped Q2 and put it in the Q1 spot. However, it meant the side that was supposed to be facing the sun was now facing the ground. Doesn't seem to make a difference. We are definitely outside on the patio a lot more now that we have it! So far, we love it. ... show more

  • Beautiful gazebo and great quality curtains!
We added this to our patio - fit perfectly for our space. It took 2 adults and 2 kids (family activity) to put it together in about roughly 4 hours. Once we got the legs up and screws aligned (this slowed us down), the rest went quickly. >We ran into a problem with the screws not aligning but we learned that you cannot completely tighten all the screws one by one - you need to leave them all loose Before completely tightening them for each leg. Keeping them loose gives you some wiggle room to help align the others. >Also, some screws did not seem to fit all the way in...we had to use steel wool to clean out a couple of the screw holes. The curtains and mosquito net are all great quality. In all, we feel it was worthwhile investment! ... show more

  • Time consuming, 2+ people, 8’ A ladder, tools necessary
Color: Brown-Poly Roof Size: 12'x16'
I am writing this only two days after fully assembling the gazebo . We are enjoying the gazebo and find the gazebo framework to be sturdy and well built. However, the ceiling panels are like plastic pieces of cardboard and we have not experienced any wind, rain or snow conditions yet so we don’t know how they will do in these conditions. The panels are tinted so some sunlight still comes through. We don’t yet know the full impact of this. When installing the ceiling panels, only do a section at a time and put on the metal panel end pieces otherwise they will slide back out. The part we found that required the extra people (more than 2) is the first part of the ceiling frame work. However, with difficulty my wife (5’5) and I (5’9) alone were able to assemble it needing the 8’ A ladder and 4’ platform ladder. Also, be prepared to spend time getting the panels in the frame guides. Ours had a good many pinched and needed adjustment to fit. We are really pleased with the design and elegance of the gazebo. For the $750 we paid it seems to be worth it. However, due to the wind and snow WE usually get, I think I would have rather gotten the metal roof type, except the ones we found were almost twice the price for the same size. We were expecting a hard plastic roof but got a cardboard plastic type instead. Hopefully this lasts through the winter. Regarding assembly time (approximately 12 hours across 2 days for 2 people), I am not a construction guy but still quite capable and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. Additional comments 1/17/25; we have had a snow storm of 6”+ but at about 3-4” I got a bit concerned about the panels holding up and cleaned it off. So it will hold at least 3” of heavy wet snow. Wind: we had it closed and the wind ripped the stitches out of the curtain and tie back but that’s our fault for leaving it closed but the wind never blew any of the ceiling panels out. ... show more

  • !!2 year review...
Although they dont sell this brand anymore, I wanted to review. Everything was delivered fine and the materials have withstood snow storms, tropical storms and the direct sun. When you first get it up, you will hear settlement noises from the panel pieces. Kinda sounds like little pops. I thought the roof was caving at first hahaha. CON: Its impossible to keep the flying bugs out because there's a gap between the roof and the frame where the netting starts. I have been thinking about putting my own mesh net around it. ... show more

  • Quality of Gazebo not good
I was hoping this would be an improvement over the lower priced ones I've had in the past. Down by the seacoast they usually last about 3 years. For this particular model assembly wasn't too complex but I had about a 25% failure rate where the pressed threaded nuts in the frame "spun". The fitting on these was very poor. Once spun you can't extract the bolt so they end up being a loose connection. I could live with that since there is usually a couple of bolts in each area and didn't seem to affect sturdiness; can always use self-tapping bolt after the fact. What I don't like is the netting and solid panels; any wind and they blow all over. You can't strap some to the corner post and leave partly open. It seems to be all or nothing. The straps make no sense, velco - 2 loop and 1 hook? No direction on how these are supposed to work, you can only use 1 hook & loop. After a week one of the "straps" already detached from the netting. Still able to use on the solid panel but now the netting billows all over, will need to sew it back on, hopefully won't rip. Poor design over-all for how it connects to the corners if you only want partial enclosure. You need a lot of ad-hoc steps to get this functional. The top is ok however it lets a lot of direct sunlight through, would have been better if it was not so transparent. I will say it hasn't leaked so that's good. Probably will need to "paint" it to keep the sunlight from bleeding through; that defeats the purpose of being in the shade under it. Overall I would look elsewhere and not purchase this model again; too many issues with it as is especially with the netting/solid panels. UPDATE - totally useless in slightest wind, netting doesn't stay down unless you bungee it down. The velcro straps provided are useless and make no sense they way they are put together. The top lets in so much sun you need sunglasses on inside when sunny out. Latest issue velcro strap separated from netting. The whole thing is poorly designed and needs lots of ad-hoc fixes including extra self tapping screws and painting of the top. ... show more

  • Good quality for the money
Good quality, well pack with protective materiel. Fairly easy assembly.as long you follow instruction carefully. Need 2 person to assemble preferably 2 men as the roof is quite hight and little complicated. 1 piece came defective but I was able to fix it. Over hall I’m very satisfied and after 3 weeks we loved every minutes off it. ... show more

  • So so
First off, the packaging on this item was useless! Scratches and dents all over the thing. Not a huge deal, but worth noting. The metal seems to be sturdy enough, but the "hard top" is anything but. The top material itself is ok, but the slats and grooves that hold them in place are super flimsy. On to the enclosure material. If you are setting this up anywhere that has the slightest wind or gusts, get ready to be disappointed. 3 of the 4 zippers on this have broke already, rendering the "enclosure " useless. Do yourself a favor and add to your Amazon cart a grommet punch, grommets, about 100 mild strength carabiners, and some floor anchors. About 100 bucks worth of hardware will really make this thing worth while. All on all I rate it a 3 out of 5. Overpriced for what it is, not worth the hassle and labor to return. ... show more

This structure is incredibly well engineered and all parts are well fabricated and fit precisely. The instructions are in pictographic format with helpful magnified portions to assist with identifying parts. An assistant is recommended with this project.
