  • My Bright Line
Color: Regular (10-46) Style: 3-Pack Pattern Name: Strings
I'm a Vox guy. And I use maple necks with maple fretboards and alder/mahogany bodies. And I use the amazing mullard reissue tube for everything but input where the JJ ECC803S is the best 12ax7 slot preamp tube ever. But I'll only use one on one channel. I'm still using the mullard 12ax7 reissues. WHY? All long plate. More chime. More compression. But that's a lot of bright stacked. if I use "Rock and roll" pure nickel strings, that crosses the bright line. And to my ears they simply don't sound as good as the Regular Slinkies. I like them with marshall amps for a little more bright. But I mean, I can get a little more with a tube swap and just use the Regular Slinkies I love to death. I swear, they get better the older they are. I let sets of regular slinkies age on my P90 guitars especially. It's like they mature and you get more pinch harmonics. ... show more

  • I love 9’s
Color: Super (9-42) Style: 3-Pack Pattern Name: Strings
They are so easy to fret cause they are thin. They even clean up easy. You have to be careful some time they can pop while stringing they are little guys. If you don’t like heavy string these are not. You can bend for days pretty easy. Just try em, they take some getting used to because if you don’t have a light touch you can start to hear your fretted notes pitch up. Thanks for reading and God bless.-pc ... show more

  • Ernie Ball does it again.
Color: Hybrid (9-46) Style: Single Pack Pattern Name: Strings
I use exclusively Ernie Ball strings, and there's a reason for that. They sound great, they play well, and they're cheap, so what's there to dislike? If all the famous guitarists use these strings, you should too! Go get yourself some, they won't let you down.

  • Great strings for a great price
Color: Regular (10-46) Style: Single Pack Pattern Name: Strings
I bought these and used them for my first ever re-string and it feels life changing. Going from bad factory strings to these ones was the best choice I made for my guitar.

  • My setup strings
Color: Regular (10-46) Style: 3-Pack Pattern Name: Strings
I buy these in bulk because they are good enough for new build set up. After setup and initial playtime, other strings will take the place of these.

  • Thick, clear tone in C standard
Color: Not Even (12-56) Style: 3-Pack Pattern Name: Strings
I switched to this set of strings after playing with EB Regular Slinky for years for both D standard and C standard tuning. (My bands play Black Metal and Death metal). I wanted to try this set to get more string tension and clarity and they did just that. Readjusting my Floyd rose bridge to accommodate the different gauges wasn't fun, but well worth it. Definitely recommend for low tuned heavy music ... show more

  • Better than Not Evens
Color: Magnum (12-56) Style: Single Pack Pattern Name: Strings
I like the Magnums better than Not Even Slinkys. I’m playing in C standard and the wound 22 sounds better and stays in tune better than the plain 24 in the Not Even set.
