  • Amazing tone!
Color: 5-String Long Scale (45-130)
At this price there isn’t a better or more consistent string.

  • Favorite bass strings
Color: 5-String Long Scale (45-130)
I have been using Earnie Ball Regular Slinky strings exclusively for years, mostly on my three main electric basses (Human Base Max 6 string, Lakland Skyline 55-60 and Mayones BeExotic 5). I play bass professionally for more than 10 years and I find these strings to have richer tone than most, good growl with decent depth, quick response and pleasant touch - and luckily they're inexpensive and even last relatively long. Good B-String too. I use this particular set to string through the body on the 35" Lakland, works great. No complaints overall, my go-to string. ... show more

Color: 5-String Long Scale (45-130)
I am extremely disappointed. I opened the strings and I found that the B string has been used. It’s obvious someone broke it trying to put it on so they put it back in the packaging and decided to resell it. Shame on you.

  • Had to buy these due to my neck length
Color: 5-String Long Scale (45-130)
My Schecter Riot 5 Sessions bass has an extraordinarily long neck. These are the strings recommended by the manufacturer. They are clean, feel great, and have a nice bright tone. Will likely buy them again when these ones need replaced.

  • Best bass strings
Color: 5-String Long Scale (45-130)
Nice bright highs and sweet bass and treble rich lows. My favorite bass strings for sure.

  • Dead on arrival
Color: 5-String Long Scale (45-130)
I’m trying to imagine how long these strings must have sat on a shelf before I got them to be this dull in both physical appearance and sound. Not sure if EB’s packaging is at fault or what but I’m never buying these again.

Color: 5-String Long Scale (45-130)
First time using these strings and I noticed their brightness is lost really quickly unlike other models and brands. Most of the time strings last about 2 months sounding great... These ones just 3 gigs and they went dull.
