EDIT: after speaking with amazon they reached out to the seller and I received a refund and did not have to pay the return shipping to return the broken fireplace. Satisfied. I purchased this fireplace and within two weeks of installing it wasn’t able to use it. The buttons stopped appearing and when you tried to turn the heat on it would make a “beep” noise and shut off. Contacted customer service who texted me back and forth seemed super kind and offered me a refund upon returning. I went to drop it off to ship out and was informed I would have to pay to ship it back and it would cost over $150 (I am being refunded $160). I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but I am disgusted. I fully intended to purchase another fireplace through this company but unless they rectify the $150 shipping cost for their piece of equipment not working I will be purchasing another fireplace through a different and more reliable company. ... show more

This fireplace has many configurations of flame color, flame speed, flame brightness, backlighting brightness, crystal bed colors, and crystal bed brightness. Very nice looking unit and easy to install. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 be stars is because I can hear a slight hum of noise from the small electric motor inside the fireplace that gives the flame simulation. I can only hear the slight noise when the flames are on without the heater blower. I returned the first fireplace I purchased because the noise was louder than this one. The motor noise on this unit is very slight. This fireplace's heater had two settings and can put out a considerable amount of heat. It would have been nice if the heater had a thermostat to maintain a certain temperature but it doesn't. Overall, I am happy with this fireplace and would recommend it. ... show more

I am updating my review from a one star to a four star because the company did get back to me once they saw my one star review and immediately issued me a FULL REFUND. They actually do have GREAT customer support although there is no way for you to contact them directly. They have to contact you first, which means leaving a bad review and then going in and editing it when they make it right. Although I was not completely satisfied with the flame of the fireplace, and the fact that it hummed from almost day one, I have upped my review to three stars because they were so kind and persistent on getting a hold of me since I do not always check my Amazon account messages. They did say the humming was probably from a broken piece inside the fireplace and they did offer to send me a new one. I took the full refund though since I didn’t like the way the flame looked in the first place. All in all- I would actually buy from this company again bc they were SO HELPFUL after all! **ORIGINAL REVIEW-(There are no flames to be seen unless the room is completely dark. It started humming/growling after only using it for a few hours. The humming continued until it just Completely stopped altogether. I only used the actual heating fan once, I had the lights on only and it made that humming sound. This was in my studio for work so it was only used a few hours a day 2-3 days a week. And now the “window of returns and customer Support has closed”… this was Purchased in January 2022 and installed middle of February 2022 and now has stopped working completely in the middle of October 2022. I will never buy from this company again and try to find somewhere other than Amazon to buy an electric fireplace.) ... show more

Update 3: The buzzing noise when it was flames only finally stopped. Update 2: I lowered it because the unit makes a vibrating noise when just the fireplace is on. How led lights make that much noise is beyond me. Definitely NOT silent as advertised. The heater covers that up. But you don’t always want heat. It did install fairly easily. Update. So through customer service was able to get it working. For anyone else who buys it, there’s a button buried inside the upper right grill. I love that you can change flame colors, coals colors, flame speed Original: Straight out of the box and it won't turn on. Changed the battery in the remote. Checked both sockets. Neither fixed it. Was hoping to upgrade from a smaller unit that had not a single issue to this. Had two others that have worked just fine but not this one. ... show more

    • Would be a 5 BUT.....

(see below for the update) A real review for those who are worried about fakes: Packaging was acceptable, mine arrived with no damage The fire without adding the rocks (rocks are included) actually looks really good . Has 3 speeds for the fire and a bunch of different color settings. It looks amazing. HOWEVER -- heating wise: it's just okay. I have a 194sqft room and I tested it yesterday, let it run for 2 hours in 41° rainy weather with 3 drafty windows (as a stress test) and it knocks the chill off the room completely but it doesn't make the room hot. Thats a good thing, because if I seal off the windows then it should be warmer. Now in 30° weather this will likely be more of an issue but I'll update if that ever happens. The reason why I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because for the price this should be a double blower, not 1 center blower. It wouldve made all the difference. There's a hum when you turn on the fire but it's not loud at all so idk what other people are talkin about in their reviews. It's quiet and looks nice even if you mount it on the wall instead of putting it inside your wall. 👍 --UPDATE-- So I've had a few 40-30°F days and I'm convinced this isn't a 1500W as advertised. I have a basic target brand space heater that is actually 1500w that more than just knocks the chill off my room at those temperatures and this fireplace doesn't do that. While it's easy to mount, and looks very nice, it doesn't get AS hot whatsoever . It's disappointing because of the price and as I stated before it for the price should be a double fan heater. This heater feels more like a 500-700w which for my size of room doesn't do much. If your room is tiny, tiny, tiny, then this can work for you. But at almost 200sqft it's not doing it for me. ... show more
