This was simple to install and is just beautiful. The heater option is fabulous as you can enjoy the flames without the heat! The heater option is setting offers two choices. When used on low it has increased the rooms temperature by two degrees! This is an open floor plan living room. We love it thus far and have had zero issues.

This fireplace has many configurations of flame color, flame speed, flame brightness, backlighting brightness, crystal bed colors, and crystal bed brightness. Very nice looking unit and easy to install. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 be stars is because I can hear a slight hum of noise from the small electric motor inside the fireplace that gives the flame simulation. I can only hear the slight noise when the flames are on without the heater blower. I returned the first fireplace I purchased because the noise was louder than this one. The motor noise on this unit is very slight. This fireplace's heater had two settings and can put out a considerable amount of heat. It would have been nice if the heater had a thermostat to maintain a certain temperature but it doesn't. Overall, I am happy with this fireplace and would recommend it.

Updated Review: very satisfied. The seller was quick to respond and replace the fireplace that was damaged and send a new remote. We love the look of this with our new media wall the flame speed, flame colors, and heat option are all great features. Good quality and it was worth the wait! I’m disappointed with this fireplace. We built and addition and just got to the media wall to install the fireplace. The fireplace is bowed in the middle and the remote won’t work after trying several new packs of batteries. I’m going to call the manufacturer as it’s past the time to return it or I would be returning it. Hopefully they will stand behind their product. Is they make it right I will post an updated review. You can see in the photo how far out from the wall it is in the middle.

I ordered this unit based on many written reviews but I should have looked at more photos than actually read the reviews. As you can see in many photos the fire looks painfully fake. The blues, pinks and purples. The stock photo shows a more realistic fire image which I learned is very deceiving. Also, the LED lights are inconsistent along the bottom (almost looking broken or burned out) and mine has holes or pockets where no light comes in. There is quite a delay communicating with the seller and by the time we could get to a resolution my contractor had left my job. I chose to take a small refund instead of replacing the unit because I am physically unable to do this myself and I cannot afford to pay my contractor to come back. So sad and disappointed as I saved up to do this project in my home for a long time. This unit certainly doesn’t look high end or realistic. Looks budget basement in my opinion. Good luck! Attached are the color option I have with my unit. Again, nothing like the stock pics.
