The quality and price of these racks are great. I was having a bit of trouble in the beginning, to which I thought the racks didn't fit my car. I had to wiggle the two parts together a little better than I thought. My fault! Super easy instructions and installation (after my little mishap). I will second another reviewer about how you have to screw in the bolts blindly. All I did was make a tiny little mark on the trim part of my roof so I knew where I was screwing the bolt into and it was easy. Racks are secure and solid. Over the years I have had several different roof racks on multiple vehicles. In each case, the structural parts of the racks were metal and the only plastic parts were cosmetic. On this rack, the ONLY metal parts are the cross bars. Had I known that in advance I probably would not have purchased it. It looks okay, but I have my doubts as to how long it will last. The price is great, but in retrospect I think spending a bit more for one that is more substantial might be the better decision. ... show more

I went outside to make sure the supllied screws were long enough to attach to my car and they weren't even close.. I was on my way out the door to go buy longer ones when I looked in the box and saw the extensions....so nice.... From then out I was sold.. Very nice product now sitting on my 2018 kia soul plus.. I must admit I was rather skeptical about this product due to it’s being hundreds of dollars less than the OEM rack for my Kia Soul. I couldn’t have been more wrong! The rack was out of the box and on the car in a matter of about 10-15 minutes, using the supplied Allen wrench. It fit perfectly! I will be using it in the fall to move my kayaks to the lake & back and so far, it looks like it will work perfectly!!! Can't say no noise at all. but it is very good compared to the other racks which I used before. I would ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS RACK! ... show more

This is a very poorly designed product, as far as installation goes. The screw to connect the bars is only JUST long enough. And you have to guess where the hole is, because you can't see the screw while you're screwing. It would have been easy to just make it a bit longer so you didn't have to guess while lining it up with the rim of the screw hole. You have to put it in, pull it out, over and over, until you find the hole. Then you think you've found the hole and you start screwing, but that's NOT the hole. And when you do finally find the hole you have to hold down the whole thing while screwing or you fall out of the hole again. ... show more
