Although the roof racks are slightly adjustable, they are TOO LONG to fit on the rear portion of my 2021 BMW X5 roof rails, which taper and get closer together towards the rear of the car. There are no instructions in the box. Have to watch the video on the Amazon listing. Length adjustment mechanism is difficult and poorly designed. No instructions at all for this process. Otherwise looks like it would be a good product. But doesn’t matter if it doesn’t fit.

These took me and my husband a good while to assemble and we had to use a hammer and brute force to push the end pieces onto the rails. Even shave a bit of plastic to make it fit together, which meant adjusting th to fit on thw car was an additional pain. Once on they were finally installed the have worked great. If your don't have help or aren't terribly strong though, I wouldn't recommend these.

I purchased these cross bars largely because they could meet my timeline. The reviews suggested quality for a good price. That’s partly correct. The box says the bars are for my 2022 BMW X5, which has a tapering roof from front to back. Unfortunately, both bars were of the same length. I triple checked the roof and bar measurements and reread the offensive instructions twice (see below). Out of time, I hacksawed 2 inches off one of the bars and everything fit fine. Once installed, the system was solid and handled a fully loading Thule XT Motion cargo container (XL). Erkul’s instructions: Don’t cut the bars or scrape the plastic headers! These crossbars are vehicle specific and bar lengths vary by model. If one bar is longer than the other, the front of your vehicle is wider than the back. In this case, install the longer bar on the front and the shorter bar on the rear. If you can’t fit it, there may be a point you missed. If you cut the bars and don’t insert cross bars fully into the mount, the bars carrying capacity will decrease. In this case, Erkul Auto will not accept responsibility. If you need assistance please do not hesitate to contact us via your shopping channel. I’m not the idiot here; that belongs to their Quality Control department. As for customer service, they never replied to my email or phone call. Summary: Buy at your own risk. Product is nice but be prepared for fixing the not quite right.

Overall good, but the assembly instructions were lacking. Did not explain that there is a difference between front in back due to car width size, so installed one and spent a while attempting to in stall the other before trying to swap them around so took an extra half hour to install. However, once on the car they are great.
