This product will NOT for a 2017 Audi Q3. So please do not advertise it as such!!! After about 45 minutes of fighting with this rack, realized it was just not meant to be. Back rail is set too long for the roof of my vehicle. I did not want to deal with the hassle of returning a "as new" condition rack, (which, btw, is impossible, as when you take it out of the packaging and attempt to install, it will get some Knicks and scratches), so, out of pure defeat and determination, had to use a metal saw to shorten the back rail, defeating the "easy install" aspect of this item. I was able to make it fit...with a lot of effort and enginuity...it does not look pretty and would absolutely not recommend! NOT AS ADVERTISED! ... show more

the bar attachment is made out of cheap plastic which broke in day 1. unfortunately, I have installed it after the 30 days mark where Amazon guarantees the return. I have wrote to the merchant but there was no response. I understood that I was in my own. buy it on your own risk. --------------------------------------UPDATE---------------------------------------------------------------- upon reading this comment, the merchant has reached out to me. for their credit, I did not use the correct mean of communication and thus they did not see my messages. they were very responsive once we started communicating. as for the product and assembly, I have to say that it is good but not the greatest. assembling and installing the product was not as easy as I hoped for and the instructions could have been made easier. the bars are now installed on top of my car and they seem to be firm. overall, I would recommend this product. ... show more

These rail bars do not fit the rails in a Q3. Do not be fooled by the title of this product. For an Audi Q3 you need a rails that are different sizes. The bar towards back of the vehicle needs to be shorter. Even with adjusting the cross bars , the cross bar is still too long.

Looks good and appears to be well made. HOWEVER, the 2021 Audi Q3 roof rails have two holes for each end of the cross bars to securely hold the crossbars firmly in place. This is only held by tension. Not sure how secure this is if you have to slam on the brakes

Unfortunately, even though as stated in the description, these do not fit my 2017 Audi Q3. The two end pieces the grip on to the bars already on my car do not fit properly. We brought them to a professional installer and he agreed that they are not meant for a Q3.
