I waited a while to write this review in order to properly test the chair, and I have to say I'm very pleased. I did a lot of shopping here when the time came to replace my old Office Depot leather chair. I didn't want to purchase another leather chair (holds too much heat, shreds and flakes off/apart after too long, no lumbar support) and I was soon suffering from terrible tension headaches (I'm 5'4, about 150 lbs). I wanted a new chair that would improve my posture while also being relatively comfortable. This chair has not disappointed me. Assembly took me a little under two hours. No parts were missing or came damaged. Spare screws are provided. The tool kit that comes with the chair does the job as intended, and the instructions are pretty clear, aside from one slightly confusing graphic involving the cushion screws. Since assembly, everything has remained structurally sound for me. It wheels well across both hard wood floors and carpet. As far as comfort, the seat is a good size and quite plush. The material of the arms & seat is dot-textured, which I suggest taking into account if that bothers you (it might make you itch). For most though, it will probably be relatively comfortable. The arm rests and seat, in my opinion, are at a perfect harmony of firmness and comfort. Not too much or too little of either. The back of the chair is wrapped in tightly-wound fabric that's breathable and feels nice to touch. Leaning back against it has never felt unpleasant. HOWEVER, I will say that I did not purchase this chair for any reclining feature; which if it does have at all, it's quite weak. If you're looking for a chair that can recline quite a bit, definitely look elsewhere! The adjustable lumbar pillow on the back does a decent job providing lower back support, especially if you're looking to better your sitting posture. It can be adjusted with the knob at the center of the X. (I did not want a chair that offered a head rest, as I find them clunky and awkward.) My tension headaches have mercifully disappeared since I purchased this model. Aesthetically, I'm delighted that this design was offered in pink! The 'X' design on the back that supports the lumbar cushion looks awesome. The chair comes in a variety of colors to suit all sorts of tastes for the home or office, there's something for just about everyone. The entire chair's materials are VERY stainable though, so I do not advise eating or drinking in the seat if you want to keep it pristine! No oil, grape juice or pizza near it, for sure! General features: the arms of the chair do lift up, though not quite at 90 degrees. There's been mentions of customers with larger shoulders bumping into them, which I can understand. I only put the arms up when I get in or out of the chair, or leave it for the night to push up against my desk. The chair raises to the maximum height (measuring from the floor to the top of the seat cushion) at 21' inches! For those who like their chair raised to an above-average height (but aren't requiring a bar stool type of chair height), this one should do the job. I prefer to sit without my feet completely touching the floor, this chair allows me that. My desk is also older & taller than average desks these days, so I wanted a chair at a height that would work well with it, and this one does. Very satisfied on that front, I don't even need the chair raised to its max height. Overall, this chair has been an incredible value, offering more features at a modest price (especially if you have a chance to use an offered manufacturer coupon). For those looking for a seat that provides more support & comfort than your standard $50-100 rolling chair with no other features, but NOT seeking an expensive seat with every possible option such as a head rest, I would 100% recommend this chair as a perfect compromise. For me it looks good, feels good, and checks every box I've needed it to!

I bought this chair because I needed something ergonomic for my home office since I’m sitting all day, and it’s been a solid purchase so far. The lumbar support is adjustable and really helps with long hours at the desk. The seat is firm but comfortable & the mesh back keeps me cool. Assembly was straightforward and took about 15 minutes. Overall, it’s a good chair for the price & comfortable, sturdy, and stylish. Definitely recommend!!

- Has a booklet with clear instructions on how to install this. As long as you know how to install a piece of furniture from IKEA, you can do this. - Installation took me about 20-30 minutes. - The armrests can be adjusted to be fully down or reclined. However, the height of the armrest cannot be adjusted, so this aspect of ergonomics is lacking. - As a petite person, I appreciate that the seat does not go past my knees and I can sit at the back of the seat properly. - The seat is comfy after sitting for many hours. - The lumbar support is adjustable to the curvature and height of your back. However, I wish it could go a little higher. - The mesh back is breathable. - The tilt function for my chair is not working. Not sure if it is just my chair or if this is a common problem. Overall: pretty good chair for the price and for a petite person. There are a few things that can be improved. Would recommend it to others!

Overall this is a great chair for the price. It was easy to put together and it looks really nice in the office space. It is super easy to move around and the wheels don't get stuck and aren't difficult. It also comfortable because I work from home all day and haven't had any issues with it.

Assembly was quick, with clear instructions and even extra parts—perfect when I used the wrong screw for the lumbar adjustment. The seat isn’t super firm but still comfy (coffee breaks help!). Adjustable arms would’ve been nice, but they’re fine. It looks sleek and modern with my IKEA desk and offers decent support. For the price, it’s a solid choice for a stylish, functional office chair.

For the amount that the chair cost i expected a better quality. The chair is comfort to sit in however, it is very unstable and anytime you move that chair it makes a cracking sound as if its going to brake. One of my biggest concerns upon receiving the chair was that there is no direct connection for the proper way to secure the chair to the base. Making me feel uneasy moving around in the chair as i us a office chair a lot, currently looking for a new option unless seller is willing to send a model that has stability.
