I received this Freepub ergonomic office chair about a week ago, and it arrived in a large, heavy box that contained all the necessary parts for assembly, including the mesh backrest, memory foam seat, headrest, armrests, base, wheels, gas cylinder, and all the required hardware. The chair itself, once assembled, is quite substantial, measuring about 24 inches wide at the seat and standing over 45 inches tall with the headrest attached, making it a dominant presence in my home office. I have only been using this item for one week, primarily as my main seating for my work-from-home desk setup, where I spend several hours each day. I find that the assembly process was manageable, though having a second person to help hold the backrest steady while attaching it to the seat would have made it easier; the instructions were clear with helpful diagrams. I appreciate that the main frame and structure are made out of polypropylene plastic, and I think that this made the item feel a bit more rigid and stable, especially when leaning back in the chair. I did not notice any sort of pungent smell upon unboxing the components or after assembly, which was important to me as I intended to use it immediately in my enclosed office space. I like the breathable mesh material of the backrest about this item; it doesn't make my back feel sweaty even after sitting for a few hours. I really like this chair. It was easy to assemble and did not take much time. The instructions were clear, and all the parts fit well.
