This chair arrived quickly in undamaged box. All components arrived very well protected and packaged. Hubby and I were able to easily assemble it in about 25 minutes. Chair is good looking, well padded and comfortable. Gas canister raises the chair to it's full height and is strong enough to maintain that height when sat on, even though we are both big & tall people. I needed a higher chair to sit on in my quilting studio in order to use my long arm quilting machine. It easily adjusts from lowest to highest height and listing was accurate for range of adjustment. If you need a chair for a drafting table, sit/stand desk, or bar height chair then this chair is perfect! I would not recommend it if you simply want a standard desk chair. It is too high for that at its lowest adjustment. Very pleased with my purchase!

In today's world of made-in-China, assemble-it-yourself furniture, I have to say that this is by far the best piece I've ever purchased. It is to be expected that there will always be one or two problems in the assembly, but in this case it was really only one: one of the five receiving arms of the base (legs?) was slightly narrow for the caster to insert. It took multiple attempts, wobbling the fitting from the caster a few times, a lot of pushing -- but it finally went in and is just fine. The only other thing that elicited my usual "why in the world would they design it this way?" is that the mounting bracket for attaching the back to the seat overlaps -- instead of being made to lie adjacent and flat with the undersurface of the seat -- the mechanism for raising and lowering the chair. To top off the much-better-than-usual ease of assembly, the protective packaging of all of the parts for shipping is without doubt the best I've seen. In terms of how the chair works, it's great! It starts high -- I use two desks with multiple keyboard shelves at differing heights and elevated monitors -- and goes up from there. The mechanism for raising and lowering the seat height works very well. The arms move well out of the way, which is my preference anyway (while there are buttons on the arms that the instructions imply release locks, when pressed, to move the arms into and out of position, the arms move from one position to another by themselves; so if they are supposed to lock and that is desired, that's a problem). The seat and back cushions are very well padded and comfortable -- and I find the lower back support perfect right out of the box. The foot support ring is easily adjusted. The casters roll just fine even on carpeting. So this is a great product with exceptionally easy assembly. I'd almost give it five stars -- but there was still that extra struggle to get one caster in and one "why in the world would they design it that way?" That's still way better from the assembly aspect (and packaging) than anything else I've ever had to assemble myself.

I never write reviews but I love this chair so much I felt compelled to do so. It says two people needed to assemble but I completed assembly by myself in about 40 min. The chair arrived very well packaged with each individual piece wrapped and packed for complete protection. Included was the only tool needed an allen wrench. Once assembled the chair feels solid yet very comfortable with good lumbar support. The five wheels let it glide with ease and I love that the arm rests can be moved out of the way or left down for padded arm support. They also can be adjusted higher or lower. I’m an artist and got this chair so I can sit while painting at an easel and can raise or lower the height of the chair depending on the size of my painting. I highly recommend this chair. I worked a desk job in government for 32 years and never had a chair as comfortable and functional as this one. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Other buyers reviews plus the features.

I purchased this chair for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. The drafting chair is very comfortable, sturdy, and well made. The height adjustment works perfectly, and it was easy to assemble. I initially made a mistake and had it shipped to my son’s previous address. When I realized what happened, I contacted Amazon, who reached out to the seller. The customer service team went above and beyond to help us by sending another chair so my daughter-in-law could still receive her gift. Just as reviewed by others -- a delightful chair, well constructed with quality parts and well worth the price. Dare I state the oft overused phrase, 'easy to assemble?' YES! Deep cushion for the seat -- I am 6' 3" and 250 pounds -- the hydraulic is mighty, holding up easily, and the chair most comfy! And the wheels don't argue when traversing carpet to floor and back, rolling smoothly. In fact, it goes a little higher than I need. Good back support, too. I'm tempted to buy another one for my two-tiered model railroad room.

The box arrived undamaged. The unassembled chair was packed/protected very well. There were no missing parts. All of the bolts were clearly marked and packed separately. A quality tool is included for assembly. No other tools are needed. The instruction booklet was easy to read and not some hard-to-read, dirty photo copy that is so common today. The assembly took about 20 min with no additional hands needed. My intended use is for a garage counter. The chair itself is of very good quality and appears to be solidly built. The seat cushion is comfortable and has an adjustable height of 27”-33”, which should accommodate any standard height counter. My counter is 38” H and I am 5’ 10” H, and it is a perfect fit. I spent several months researching adjustable height chairs and this is what I decided would meet my needs for heavy use, garage duty. If you are looking for something similar, I can confidently recommend this product.
