This chair arrived quickly in undamaged box. All components arrived very well protected and packaged. Hubby and I were able to easily assemble it in about 25 minutes. Chair is good looking, well padded and comfortable. Gas canister raises the chair to it's full height and is strong enough to maintain that height when sat on, even though we are both big & tall people. I needed a higher chair to sit on in my quilting studio in order to use my long arm quilting machine. It easily adjusts from lowest to highest height and listing was accurate for range of adjustment. If you need a chair for a drafting table, sit/stand desk, or bar height chair then this chair is perfect! I would not recommend it if you simply want a standard desk chair. It is too high for that at its lowest adjustment. Very pleased with my purchase!

Just as reviewed by others -- a delightful chair, well constructed with quality parts and well worth the price. Dare I state the oft overused phrase, 'easy to assemble?' YES! Deep cushion for the seat -- I am 6' 3" and 250 pounds -- the hydraulic is mighty, holding up easily, and the chair most comfy! And the wheels don't argue when traversing carpet to floor and back, rolling smoothly. In fact, it goes a little higher than I need. Good back support, too. I'm tempted to buy another one for my two-tiered model railroad room.

Such a great chair/stool. Great quality for the price, and has the most vertical range of any that I've seen out there. Works with both a regular desk and a bar table that I use as a second work space. Highly recommended.

The box arrived undamaged. The unassembled chair was packed/protected very well. There were no missing parts. All of the bolts were clearly marked and packed separately. A quality tool is included for assembly. No other tools are needed. The instruction booklet was easy to read and not some hard-to-read, dirty photo copy that is so common today. The assembly took about 20 min with no additional hands needed. My intended use is for a garage counter. The chair itself is of very good quality and appears to be solidly built. The seat cushion is comfortable and has an adjustable height of 27”-33”, which should accommodate any standard height counter. My counter is 38” H and I am 5’ 10” H, and it is a perfect fit. I spent several months researching adjustable height chairs and this is what I decided would meet my needs for heavy use, garage duty. If you are looking for something similar, I can confidently recommend this product.

The bottom is very thick and comfortable. There are a couple weird things about the chair though. The arms... I'm not sure why they need to go back so far? They look really strange when they are raised up, and they go so far behind the chair that they hit things when you turn. The back of the chair is strange too. It's pushed farther forward that seems necessary. It's almost like they were trying to over do the lumbar support and it didn't end well. It's just shy of being comfortable. I got this to use at a raised table when I quilt. The base height is quite high, so this chair will NOT work with a standard desk. I have back pain and this helps a little, but if the part where the back meets the chair wasn't pushed so far forward it would be much more comfortable. I'm not sure if I'll keep it yet.

The Ergonomic Mid-Back Drafting Chair is worth the money I spent. Packaging excellent, assembly instructions were the best. Chair is very comfortable and looks great. Seat adjusts to the height I needed. I can't say enough about the assembly instructions. I only needed my wife's help once during the seat assembly. Oh, I didn't swear once during assembly.

So much more comfortable than my old chair. Kept this in my cart forever before I finally bought it. Glad I did. My old drafting chair was just okay but I would get sore if I sat in it too long. This is very comfortable! I can sit back and relax when I’m not hunched over working. The height of the chair is just right and there is a solid window for adjustment. Assembly was easy too. I highly recommend this chair.
