I started looking for a basic, inexpensive replacement and came across this ergonomic mesh office chair. The chair arrived very well packaged — almost too well. It honestly took longer to unwrap everything than it did to assemble the chair, which was quick and straightforward. In terms of comfort, the seat is a bit firmer than I expected. I’m hoping it softens up with use, but if not, adding a small cushion would be an easy fix. What I do really like is how sturdy and stable the chair feels while sitting. My old chair had developed a tilt and wobble, so being able to sit properly again has been a real relief. I also appreciate that the armrests can be flipped up or down, which is a great feature. It comes unassembled but assembly is pretty easy and only requires one person. No other tools required than the ones it comes with. I appreciate that they included a few extra parts as well. The arms raise so you can push the chair under a desk or table, and it raises and lowers quite easily. As for comfort, it's a 4 out of 5. It's fairly comfortable, but you won't fall asleep in it. It's not a lie! This chair delivers everything it promises. The seat is thick, comfortable, and supportive. The ventilated back is not adjustable, but the mesh is supportive and flexible. I love the flip-back arms. Overall, a very sturdy chair. I was worried that it wouldn't be as easy to assemble as advertised, but to my relief, it actually took only 15 minutes to put the chair together. The instructions are well-written, each type of screw is clearly labeled, and the holes are all lined up exactly as designed. I'm pleasantly pleased and it didn't cost me a fortune to get a good office chair. This chair fits a shorty perfectly! I am 5'1 and struggle to find chairs to fit me that aren't overwhelmingly large. This one does the trick. I like the flip up arms on it too so I can stow it away under my desk. The cushion is a little firm currently but will soften up from wear. The lift lever works perfectly and the back support is great. It was very easy to put together.
