I bought the top of line simmons adjustable base ($4K) only to have both motors go out. If you call Simmons they will tell you to call ergomotion and ergomotion uses some cheap Chinese company named Jiaxing for all its parts. Ergo motion doesn't even have any of these parts. Lol They told me I would need to let them charge my credit card without an exact total. Because they have no idea what they would personally be charged for shipping. It would be in a ballpark of $450 to $500. Sounds crazy, right? One of my motors went out within the first year and as for the second one the gear completely snapped off. I'm a 6 ft man weighs 200 lbs and i sleep in the bed by myself. Lastly, they accuators are a cheap brushed slow system. Brushes are guaranteed to fail over time, ask anyone. All you're buying is a name brand one company outsourced to another company outsourced to another company. Buy one of these at your own risk!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. TAKE IT FROM A BURNED FORMER CUSTOMER. I have been dealing with this company for 10 months on an adjustable base that I have an active 25 year warrantee on. I have gotten the run around on obtaining a replacement adjustable base when I received a defective product. It took them 8 months of telling me buy this nut, buy that bolt, and buy this combination of pieces to fix the problem. I was even told that my bed was supposed to have the concave in the center of it. This lead to them finally sending a technician to my house and the technician asking me "And they wouldn't replace the bed with it looking like this?" I was told by the technician that they would submit paperwork for a replacement and then they actually called ergo in my home so that I knew what was going on. Ergo told the technician that they were submitting the order for a replacement (this was February 24th 2022) and that I would have it in 4 to 6 weeks. Fast forward seven weeks, it is now April 8th and Ergo tells me they do not manufacture my base except for MyPillow and that I can not obtain a replacement. They will not give me my money back, a store credit or any acceptable alternatives. I will not deal with them again. I contacted the original retailer I purchased this from and they cannot provide a refund or a replacement as they state it is up to Ergo especially I am in the "Hassle Free 2 year window." I am HIGHLY dissatisfied and hope I can save someone the hassle I have faced. 😤
