first things first, this is the second camera i got from this vendor. the first one did not work (only showed a blue screen) and was returned through the amazon returns program ive returned dozens of things through amazon and this was the first and only time the vendor actually reached out to me to see what the issue was, and how to improve it so, kudos for that as for the camera and screen (and this is for the wired camera with the 7 inch screen, in case amazon decides to group this review in with who knows what...the dont seem to be to particular) one thing i love about this screen is that is has a memory i have had other back up cameras in the same price range and way to often, whatever changes i make to back up lines width, height, or whatever does not get stored so when i power the camera back on, it will be back on the default settings which is a pain this particular screen goes right back to where i left it off, which is great there are only two places where i think they can really improve on this product and the first is a home screen when you first turn on this camera, there is a picture of some european trucks on the screen which is great, except for the fact that they are NOT at the moment behind my truck, and since i am using this as a back up camera (its advertised purpose, go figure) all i want to see, is what is behind my truck so if we could just get rid of that home screen and go straight to picture, that would be great the only other "issue" is the back up lines they are great, and quite adjustable except for one hiccup, if you set up the screen for a horizontal flip, those back up lines will show up in the sky, instead of on the ground kinda defeats the purpose having said all that, i like this set up and if it doesnt give out in the next 2 years, id be willing to buy it again i wired mine in to the back up lights (into the back up light wire for the trailer plug, to be precise) and it only comes on when i shift the truck in reverse i cant saw how well the "night vision" is because the back up lights on the truck are bright enough to make it look like noon

FYI...Camera fixed, and not adjustable except bendable metal, however, may not fit over license plate with holder or as simple as described and may only be attached to inside by bending camera mount metal or resolve to attach entirely on the outside of plate.

I have to say we were a little skeptical at first. The price had us wondering if it was going to be cheap and without a clear picture but it surprised us and has a clear screen, was easier to install than what we thought and the screen fits perfect on our 1993 Toyota 4 Runner. I would definitely recommend it.

Using this front mount camera for off road wheeling, The image is clear and the entire system works great. Installation was a breeze, but cabling should be longer on the camera side so you can easily hide large video plug under the hood rather than behind the bumper. Otherwise, a very inexpensive camera system that just works.

I put the camera on my 2003 ford f-250 I’m using the cigarette lighter port for the power, I’m too lazy to set it up with the reverse fuse or whatever it goes to lol. ... but every time you manually turn it on you have a (an annoying) "3 second" graphic picture of several 18 wheelers rather than going straight to camera mode. It gives you a short wire to connect to a "reverse lamp" wire or a fuse box, but this didn't work for me. However, I do use it every day.

At $40, I believed this was a good purchase. Install was a huge hassle though. Mostly from wiring and routing. Not recommended if you are not handy tearing your car's trims apart and knowing where to splice the wires (requires a car wiring diagram). In the end, the picture quality was exceptional in daylight and quite good nighttime. The wide angle lens and distance grid helped guide me to park precisely (I prefer bumper in parking whenever possible). Never worry about hitting walls or other objects. Only thing I didn't like was the adhesive mounting pad they provided. It was weak and softened in the sun. I messaged the company asking for a suction cup base. They sent one but it did not fit the base of the camera. I'm in the process of modifying the suction cup plate to fit the camera; which I shouldn't have to. Hence the 4 star...

I purchased 2 of these backup cameras for my large work vehicles. Installation was easy and straight forward. Setup was a breeze. They make trailer connections and reversing into customer properties safer and save time. Awesome product! Highly recommend.
