The leather is softer than my normal Docs. Unlike normal, these took no time to break in. So comfortable. I've already worn them several times and I have no complaints. I get compliments every time I wear them, they are so cute.

I have spina bifida, and doctors wanted me to wear orthopedic shoes, however… One day I came across these doc Martin shoes and they were perfect for the support that I needed and I just started collecting combat boots and wing tips and I’ve been wearing them ever cents. And I just ordered this lilac suede paint splattered doc Martin shoe and the only negative thing I have to say is that it says it’s a US five but I’ve compared it to my other shoes that are a size 5 and it’s really more like a six or 6 1/2. So know that they run big. Other than that, they’re beautiful and unique and they’re soft and if you take care of them, they’ll last for years and years. I’ve been a fan of these shoes and combat boots for 30 years and to this day they’re still the shoes that help me the most because , I have a foot that’s numb and a leg that doesn’t work for a while and these shoes are so wide and they have a nice thick soul with treads on the bottom your lace up so the shoe can’t slip off. It’s just ended up being the perfect solution for me , but I now have three pairs of combat boots sparkles… The new ones the lilac with the paint splatter and then I have a pair of pink sparkly Martin boots, and then I have a pair of like a gray iridescent combat boot. It’s really interesting. The color is gray, but it reflects different colors . And if you can’t wear high heels, if you buy some different styles of docs, you can find something that will go with a nice dress or a suit or whatever you need to put together as an outfit. ... show more
