  • Wireless Horse Trailer Camera: Enjoy hassle-free installation with the wireless Equine Eye Camera. Magnetic mounts allow you to quickly and securely attach the camera to your horse trailer in seconds for improved safety
  • Advanced Night Vision & Audio: Capture clear footage even in low light with built-in night vision. The camera also features audio, giving you real-time communication and full monitoring of your horse
  • Live video to your cell phone: The wide-angle lens ensures you can monitor your horse's movements from every angle, giving you peace of mind during transportation direct to your phone. Camera comes with a mobile phone dashboard holder
  • Seamless App Connectivity: The camera connects to an intuitive app on your phone, allowing you to have a live video link of your horse. The app is available for both iPhone and Android devices
  • Extended Battery Life: With up to 8 hours of battery life, the Equine Eye Camera ensures continuous monitoring on long trips. It operates independently of your phones Wi-Fi or signal, keeping your phone free for other uses. It does not require a signal to operate
  • Have a big truck or gooseneck? Check out our 'Vision' camera. This camera connects similarly to Bluetooth with a direct connection between trailer & phone. It is perfect for standard car & trailer set ups & small trucks & goosenecks. Just like with home WIFI & routers, there's no set rule on how far away from the connection will reach but increased distance & infrastructure will diminish signal. If you need to upgrade to the 'Vision' camera, just reach out to us & we can arrange an upgrade.
  • How do I mount my camera? The Equine Eye Voyager camera comes with a super sticky mount that adheres to any surface. It has been tested on the bumpiest roads! Simply remove the sticker from the base of the mount and adhere it to the surface in your trailer where you would like the camera positioned. The other side of the mount is magnetic and attaches to the camera.

Description

The Equine Eye horse camera is your ‘eyes and ears’ while transporting your horse providing improved safety and peace of mind. It is the most advanced wireless float camera on the market with around double the battery life of most wireless cameras. The sleek, wireless cameras are magnetic, so no installation is required. The camera comes with a mount for trailers that do not have metal within. They can easily be re-positioned from inside your float to act as a reversing camera. Engineered with a suite of advanced features including night vision, motion detection, and audio capabilities, our camera guarantees comprehensive monitoring even in the darkest of conditions. The camera connects to an intuitive app on your phone, which means you simply position the camera on your horse, turn on the app on your phone, and you have a live video link. There are two versions of the app available; one for iPhones and one for android. Ensure that both you & your horse arrive at your destination safe and relaxed. Live video of your horse in the trailer, directly to your phone. Forget hardwired cameras, the Equine Eye is magnetic and is simple to install. It also comes with a swivel mount which can attach to any surface. It is completely portable & can be repositioned as a reversing camera. There are so many uses for this camera - from horse owners that have used the camera as a baby monitor, to Zookeepers using the camera to monitor elephants. Wireless cameras are great for standard car & trailer hauling set ups, but if you have a really long truck with living infrastructure you may prefer our 'Universal' camera for additional features and stronger connectivity. See the chart below for a feature comparison. Many cameras on the market come with Chinese phone apps which are clunky. Not to mention non-existent assistance team should you have a problem. Equine Eye uses an Australian designed app, and has a team based in Australia who provide prompt and friendly assistance should you need setting up your camera. The camera creates a hotspot for your phone to connect to, which means you do not need phone signal to operate the camera.

  • Very Nice Camera
I was kind of worried if this would work in my horse trailer (2 horse slant with a tack room in front) the camera was mounted in the back. We made a 1,000 mile trip and the camera worked flawlessly. Their program does need some work as it would hang up about every 20 minutes or so. I knew that the camera's battery was limited to ~8 hours; so I wired it into the trailer electrical system. It charged the camera as we drove. 20 hours with no issues on the charge. ... show more

  • Weak WiFi Signal
This gets an “A” for concept, but a “D” for execution. I set the camera up in a 2-horse bumper pull trailer. Once connected to the camera’s WiFi, the app worked great in the trailer and even as far as the back bumper of the truck, but once the phone was inside the truck, it lost the signal and wouldn’t reconnect until I took the phone back outside. The trailer has a tack room in front, so the signal has to pass through two aluminum walls to reach the truck, and it proved too much. The camera should have a signal booster included, or at least available to purchase, but it does not. ... show more

  • Best travel buddy ever
Such a great and easy to use camera! I charge it up after every other trip just to be safe and it has never died on me. Once connected I can travel with peace of mind and check in on my boy in the back whenever needed. Makes competition travel so much less nerve wracking and I don’t need to stop to convince myself he’s ok all the time. The magnet has not failed me once and I have gotten a second mount for the back of my trailer so I can pop it on there and use as a reverse camera in tight spots around other cars. ... show more

  • Trust the bad reviews
Unless your trailer is made of cardboard and you tow with a convertible holding your phone over your head DO NOT BUY this. I made the mistake of ignoring other reviews that talked about poor signal strength and connection. I mounted the camera in the front of our small bumper pull 2 horse trailer. It worked while holding the phone and walking all around the trailer...up to 25-30 feet away. BUT, as soon as I entered the tow vehicle (my pickup truck) it disconnected. The screen on the app flashed between "connected" to "unconnected " It would not work. Too wimpy a signal. Am packing it up and returning it today. ... show more

  • Great customer service
Great camera but it reached a point to no longer take charge. The company agrees to replace the equine eye camera! What great customer service!

  • It works if you're close enough.
There are 2 main issues that seem to affect this, in my opinion. Limited range, and limited battery life, which is pretty limited to 8 hours (limited for something like this, anyway). It's my belief that the small battery necessitates a lower transmit power to keep battery life reasonable. A bigger battery would give better capacity and thus more available power to increase Tx output. It's probably why they offer this with a solar panel as well. But as it stands now, once you reach a certain point (which is affected by line of sight somewhat) it'll start to drop out, simply because it doesn't transmit that far. One thing I find odd is the complete lack of reviews at the Play Store, despite 1000+ downloads. If you're close enough it works ok, but the less between you and it, the better. And keep the 8 hour battery life in mind. I would honestly recommend trying the solar version instead of this, because then at least you wouldn't have to stop and charge this if you're on a long haul. But if all you do are short hauls with short trailers, this version might work for you. I suggest making sure you get a good signal by trying it when you get it. ... show more

  • No support from company, incompatible with ford truck
incompatible with ford truck, pop up box kept saying unable to connect, obscured the view of screen, kept disconnecting, contacted company for support and they did not respond. Very frustrating.
