Printer works well. It is compact and easy to use and the print quality is very good.. Downside: the printer came with ink cartridges that were less than half full. Apparently the ink provided was for set up and alignment only. Had to buy ink right away. Could not buy re manufactured ink. The printer is programmed to use only Epson ink or so they say..The printer came with a warning that the ." Epson printing system is specifically designed to be used with Epson Genuine Cartridges." It also stated that the "Use of non-genuine ink could cause damage not covered under the Warranty" .The Epson website on Amazon made no mention of this nor did they let it be known that the ink provided was for set up and ink had to be bought right away. ink.Epson Brand ink is very expensive, had I known I would have chosen another another brand rather than Epson. I finally gave up on this printer and returned it. Spent close to $90 on ink. Every time I used the printer it seemed like one of the ink tanks was empty. $52 on 4 little skinny cartridges of ink. Had to align the printer twice, using tons of ink and still the print quality was not good. Color printing was dull and looked smudged. I tried different print settings and still .     • Good Printer, but a pain to setup

I just found room to put the printer. I liked the solid feel of the printer. It's twice as big as my original Epson printer and felt well built. My only issue was that I had a hard time setting it up. I'm a light tech guy, but the instructions got me stumped. The instructions were confusing and the setup ap would not let me advance until I figured out how to satisfy its demands. It took me 30 minutes to find and turn on the desktop location setting. There were a few other instructions similar to that. My original Epson that I bought 9 years earlier was easier to setup, maybe 1 hour. My new Epson took 3 hours to setup and I was stressed out. ... show more

Works great before I used up the original WF-212 ink cartages. Then I replace all 4 cartages with new ones from Epson. That resulted in "replace the cartages". After a dozen reinstalls, it says "unrecognized code". I gave up and bought another printer. Hopefully I get lucky and the new remanufactured Printer works. UPDATE: IF YOU DO NOT MIND WASTING ALL YOUR MONEY ON INK GIVE THIS PRINTER A GO. I BOUGHT INK ON 12-08. AND I'M ALREADY NEEDING TO PURCHASE MORE!! if i did an lot of printing i could understand but i printed maybe 50 pages and not even of full color or full blank ink. I will purchase ink one last time before researching a better at home printer. i have now spent more on ink then i have on the printer that i haven't even owned for a year. - I got this printer when my Cannon printer died. This printer sucks ink. I bought the printer in September, ink in October and now in December its out of ink again. I do not print much. Most of what I print are sewing patterns. It will not use any 'off brand' ink. you are stuck using their expensive ink. I got the printer onsale for less than $100 but with ink being almost $70 its not worth it. The printing is also full of lines. I've done all the troubleshooting to get rid of them but they remain. ... show more
