Disappointing! Out $100+ in ink after 3 trials of ink to finally determine that the yellow ink dispensing jet must not be working on this printer. ****This was typed in early July, 2024**** It's past the return window. It worked just fine for the first 2-3 months, then quality dropped the last week to find badly colored copies. After an occassional color printing job, I finally replaced the original Epson yellow printer cartridge with the generic ink cartridge. No yellow. I retried loading it 5/6x on about 3 different occassions, still no yellow. I bought Epson brand ink and still no yellow ink is printing onto the pages. This was not a good first-time trial for me to try Epson. I had much better luck with my HP! ***update*** It's now Oct 2nd, spent MORE money on ink to try "self-cleaning," a procedure that Epson says to keep repeating until the nozzle isn't clogged. After repeated attempts, the yellow ink nozzle is still plugged. Each nozzle "self-cleaning" uses ink from all 4 cartidges when it does it. So I've replaced ink cartridges several times without being able to use it for print job. Alao, the printer won't print black or color if just one color is empty. I've tried to use it just for black and white copies, but it won't print anything if a color ink cartridge is needing replaced. This is rediculous. I'm going to attempt to contact Epson to have it sent directly to them. I bought this in March, was gone traveling all summer and am now fed up with the Epson printer. I purchased an HP printer and it's working beautifully! The ink refills might be more expensive, but it prints 🖨 as it says it will, consistently for at least 5+ years. So Epson has sealed me back onto HP. I'll be glad when I'm done with this rediculous EPSON mistake. ... show more

This printer does what I really wanted it to do. I replaced my HP all in one printer because it took so long to start and then had to do a lot of bump and grind just to get it to print. The Epson Workforce WF-2930 starts up and prints quickly. Took care of my frustration from the HP printer. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was a bit difficult to set up. Wanted to use my phone to do the setup (I will never use my phone with the printer) and then took extra work and a little research to get it to work with my desk top computer. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I can't find the correct ink cartridges for this product the cartridges r the number it supposed to be but the cartridges r to wide making them not the right size.

I bought this to replace a failing printer, because of chromebook support and 2 sided printing. I have not used it hardly at all so far (1 day), but others may benefit from my chromebook experience. I did everything right for about 4 hours, over and over, but from the print page, chromebook would deliver the message "can't connect to printer". It detected the printer, but gave no explanation as to the failure. Here is how to set up chrome. Epson Smart Panel works good for finding the IP address, or get it from the printer itself 1. Click on Time Icon, click settings Icon 2. Scroll to Bottom, click Advanced 3. Choose Printers, Epson WF-2930 Series will appear under "Add Printer" or "Your saved printers" 4. Edit it --Enter the IP address, with a ":631" appended. It may do this automatically 5. Choose IPP protocol 6. Save 7. do a Cntrl+p to bring up the print page This is where the message "Can't connect to printer" may appear 8. Change the destination from WF-2930, to something else. Then change it back. This last step fixed the problem for me. Chromebook SW does something in the Destination select, it does not do in the normal setup. ... show more
