I bought this to replace an HP. Unlike the HP, this Epson never drops the wireless connection. It stays connected to the laptop, and 3 phones with no issues at all. Print quality is excellent, giving professional color and B&W results. Have 2 paper trays is a serious plus and they hold a good amount of paper each. The app that gets installed makes everything easier to use on screen than having to reach over and make your settings on the printer screen itself. The ink, like every other printer is a bit pricey, but the quality of the printer over the cost of it makes it worth it in the end. It has the features and print quality of those $1000+ printer with the big names. It's also so easy to set up, that I didn't need to use tech support, so I couldn't give that a rating. ... show more

    • Easy to use!
Good printer so far, did have some issues with USB connections, that I got ironed out after a few uninstalls and installs (had to do a wifi installation first, and then do the USB).

    • Good print, pricy proprietary ink, misleading marketing and manuals, poor support.
Bought this because both the marketing materials and manual (387 page pdf) says it takes legal sized paper. In fact neither paper cassette tray is long enough to hold legal paper. And there is no optional cassette you can buy to handle legal paper. But you can load up to 10 pages of legal into either short tray, have the ends flopping out of the cassette, stopping to refill every 10 pages. And Customer Support was as confused as any customer who has to rely on Epson manuals. Disappointed. ... show more

    • On switch works for me - I like it. Quality great. The driver needs improvement.
Great quality and speed. Easy to use due to great control panel. I updated the driver but it seems to not like to print bar codes for Lowes returns. I tried 3 times and got a different printing each time, and each time no bar code. I could see the bar code on the computer monitor but never on the print preview or output. I will keep updating it until they fix it. ... show more

My primary printer for color printing and home photos. Quality is excellent, the setup was easy. My router is located downstairs. I have a ATT extender located in my office upstairs. While the signal is excellent and the desktop has no connection issues. The printer (setup via wireless) loses connectivity when setting idle over a period of time (desktop remains up and online). ... show more

    • Driver needed not included on cd!
The printer works fine. It comes with CD of drivers. BUT not a driver to work with a Windows 7 pro computer. I know thats old school but I still have an offline computer and that is what i do most of my printing from. How hard would it have been to have older drivers on the cd!!
