This is my second power press. My first one lasted over 3 years and I pressed over a thousand shirts on it for my business. I highly recommend this name brand. It is reasonably priced and works great! My only issue with my first power press is eventually over time, it wore out. One day I turned it on to start heating up and a few minutes later I noticed it was getting hot faster than normal. After a few more minutes it had went over the temperature I had it set at and it kept getting hotter. I don't know much about the mechanics of presses but I'm guessing whatever regulates the temperature had went bad. So since my heat press was several years old and had paid for itself time and time again I went ahead and retired it. I bought another one and I love it. It took a little longer than expected to get here but overall I received a week after I ordered. Highly recommend this item. ... show more

Great so far! I don’t have any other heat presses to compare it to however this to me is very easy to use. I’ve made a few shirts with it so far on different temps and have no complaints. Even washed (and dried, oops) and no peeling. Arrived packaged nicely and was not damaged. Pressure seems to be even in all areas and I have not had a problem with the temp. Takes a little muscle and control to open and close the press on medium pressure but once you get the hang of it, it becomes habit. Would definitely recommend. (Margaritas made me do it shirt is pictured after washing and drying) ... show more

This heat press came on time. It is VERY well built. I love the tough clamp. The clam shell design saves space but also makes it easier to open in close in my opinion. My DID come with a perfect fitting Teflon sheet. I didn't expect that so I had bought one and didn't need it. So save your money if you're thinking you need to get one. I have made 17 shirts, 40 coozies, and 3 baby onesies so far with this. It does amazing! Good hear distribution and pressure. It heats up quickly and cools off just as quick. I have ABSOLUTELY no complaints. I can't say how long it will last. But I can say it is well built and I expect to get a lot of use out of it. The corner of my machine also came with a prominent ding on the side. It's not a packaging flaw, rather I believe they're being sold this way because other reviews have it as well. It doesn't effect the functionality of the machine (from what I've tested so far.) will update in the next few months with an update ... show more

This press has been excellent so far. We just started making our own tshirts and sweatshirts and this has worked wonderfully so far. Super easy to use. The timer is helpful. The locking arm really makes sure your shirt is securely in there so the images transfers without issue. We have made tons of shirts already and still working as great as the first one. I tried to use this for sublimation but it was melting my shirts during the 10-second preheat. I checked the temperature with an infrared thermometer and it is running DANGEROUSLY hotter than it is set for. I set it for 300, and it reached 420. I set it on 400 and it reached 589. It smoked ALOT during the first time I turned it on and warmed it up (for vinyl) but I had no idea that was probably because it's defective. Luckily I'm within my 30 days return window and I saved the box, so I'm returning it. I decided to get a Transpro heat press instead! If you choose to try your luck with this one - make sure you have an infrared thermometer to check it's accuracy. It's not worth melting your items or burning the house down! (I also disliked the clamshell design - it had more pressure at the back, I burned my hand often trying to set up the item for pressing, and I'm short so once it was hot I had to walk around it to the back to get to the temperature, time, and pressure controls.) ... show more

I absolutely love this press!!! It's strudy, easy to adjust and heat up super fast. Came ready to go out of the box. I would highly recommend it for the price and the quality. I purchased a 5n1 swing away press at first and it was complete garbage. Barely any of the attachments worked like they should. And the swing feature is just inconvenient when working in a small space. So I now have two presses but I haven't turned the old one on since I got this. ... show more
