This was easier than I thought it would be for my 2012 Buick Enclave. The navigation DVD failed to read a long time ago and I replaced it with a stand alone navigation system that needed a new map download about every 3 months. The radio still worked but the whole system would lockup periodically with various error messages. Occasionally, the rear view camera image would lock out. I had already replaced the nav/radio in my Toyota RAV4 and thought it was time to try it on the Buick. I hunted for a replacement unit that had AM radio (because I'm old and I like regular news and weather.) The Eonon unit came back in my search as about the only unit that had AM radio. It also said I could directly connect the original rear camera with an adapter they provided. I'm glad I bought this one. Making all the connections to the wiring harness was well documented and easy to accomplish. I ran the GPS antenna and microphone to the passenger side and dropped one of the USB connectors into the glove box. There was a wire to connect the dash top storage USB. I brought the third USB (for wired Android Auto out the front of the unit, in case I wanted to use wired AA. Everything worked as soon as I turned the ignition key! The radio sounds great. I think it works with the Bose system better than the original radio. The digital audio controls can make it sound like any venue you want! The original rear camera works great and has not locked up once since the install. Android Auto and Waze both work just fine wired or wireless. I keep one USB connected to a memory stick with music and movies on it. Movies will even play in a pip on other screens! I should have done this sooner. I contacted Eonon Technical Services to get their help changing the boot logo to a Buick graphic file and they were very patient and consistent with their communication. We finally ruled out enough things for me to get it working. This unit has exceeded my expectations in every way. I am tempted to try the built in LTE SIM card feature. If I find a good deal on a card, I might give it a go. It would be hard to find a better unit for the money. ... show more

Actually pretty good. Not the fastest thing ever, and doesn't really have the power for satellite maps, but regular Google Maps works fine. Sound amp is good, CAN work with some fiddling.

Don’t waste money or time on any of the other 07-14 Silverado radios. JUST BUY THIS ONE. I’m not a paid reviewer. Went through 4 other trash off brand radios on here that were exact replicas of this but not the same chips and software. Had a eonon radio 15 years ago so said screw it ill buy it Everything works perfectly down to my steering wheel controls and both cameras without me having to setup anything. This one also has enough power to sound good and has way better quality eqs that actually retain settings. 10/10. Even tells me when and what doors are open and has a factory chime speaker that makes it feel oem. ... show more

Perfect fit in my truck. Sits flush with my dash for a smooth appearance without having to buy a dash kit. Good price compared to the bigger brand names. So far it's holding up pretty well and the sound quality is better than what I had. A minor down fall I've experienced so far: When shifting from park to drive the backup camera will try to turn on quick and get stuck on. I'd have to shift to reverse then back to drive and it's fine. I think it would be fixable if I were able to add a camera delay but I haven't figured out how. I'm not pulling a star for this alone because a simple software update can fix it ... show more

The product it’s OK the fact that all the wiring and everything matched up that was very good The unfortunate part about this radio is the fact that it does not have a lot of power, and I was under the assumption that since it connected to everything in my vehicle that it was meant for my vehicle and can power the speakers without any additional amps, but unfortunately, it does not the sound quality in my vehicle is a Bose stereo system. The speakers are good. The head unit was bad that’s why I purchased this head unit, but like I said the unfortunate thing. it does not have enough power to power the speakers. ... show more

Installation pretty straight forward and unit works pretty good but, it sometimes puts itself in forward camera mode (without a forward camera hooked up) and stays there. You can't navigate out of it unless you stop vehicle and shift into reverse or park Sort of the equivalent of smacking it upside the head. This makes it very frustrating. I haven't contacted customer service about it yet. I'll update when I do and it gets resolved. ... show more

I was really surprised by the level of detail these supply to the speakers. My speakers now sound just as clear as the Bose speakers in my Infiniti qx60! Not only that but the low and high pass filters on this unit are also really good. I have a compact sub connected to my car and the sound is completely full! The screen is also very good quality and decently bright during the day! There are other units out there that are TN panels and you can tell when you look off-angle but this one is amazing! It’s a bit on the expensive side but you really get your money’s worth with this unit! Installation was a breeze because all the connectors plugged directly into the car harnesses and it’s a 1 to 1 fit. I was very pleased! ... show more
